Well, not really a poem...don't know just where this fits...
Maybe there should be a category just for 'DREAMS'
I can see it happening, some day the world will be a kinder place.
Where all lovers can walk hand in hand and be appreciated
For their love for one another and not ridiculed
For who they love.
One day I may feel free to shout out:
"Hey, every body, look at us, we're so much in love."
"Look at us embrace. Look at us sharing our lives with each other"
"Isn't he the most wonderful sight on this planet?"
"Let me tell you all about this fantastic guy.
"Let me tell you how wonderful, sweet and loving he is."
"Let me tell you how smart and mature he is!"
"Let me tell you how much I love him and"
"Even more astonishing"
"Let me tell you how much he loves me"
"HUH?"
"Oh! I don't have to tell you that?... Well, sure.... it's written all over me."
"Sure you can see him in my face! He's all that I think of anymore"
"I love him to pieces... I'm so pleased that you can actually tell"
"And I'm so happy that our love has brought you happiness"
"Sorry, we've got to go now. Got things to do, places to see"
"Come on baby, skip along with me, let's sing our song"
"Let's hold hands and let the world envy our love"
"They can find their own happiness out there"
"If they just open their hearts to it."
