Now and Then |
I can taste you now. Though, more a vapor, A faded memory from a life past. Of love found and Of love drowned in practicality. I drink you again through the two Who before me stand entwined. There is but you and thine. My soul absorbs every curve, Every place where skin embraces skin. Mine too, burnes in envy and desire. Lips touch and cheeks flush A gossamer, lip to lip, defeats retreat. And sweet moisture slip lanuginous breasts, Trailing downward to treasure chests Too long overdue and swollen with desire. Leg entwines leg as if to be one. I can't bear the weight of air, Yet, breathing labors on And so must I, but in silence. Two so strong, so young, so naive, So fortunate, my dears (and maybe not) that You arrived when most of the battles were won. You drink the nectar born of the seeds Planted by those who before you came. Do you know who they were? Do you care? |
