Our Days Begun

He departs his bed and rests his head upon my shoulder.
I draw him near, is very clear he's getting bolder.

He lifts his chin, invites my tongue in, we dance as one.
My fingers there, into his hair, I love you hun.

A long embrace and in his face I see my future.
My heart should know, I'll never go it's just the overture.

Another day, no words can say of loves desire
A poet bold, a story told, yet can't aspire.

My mind is free, it floats with thee, our day's begun
We'll laugh and play, there we will stay till the setting sun.

And then reside there by your side, you rest your head
Our bodies one, love's just begun within our bed.
