Hope you're not getting sick of the positive side of my poetry. I can't help it,
you see, someone has brought light into my universe and the shadows are gone.
Our Loves Abide
A voice so smooth and warm, I'm reborn in you my love
A kiss so sweet and pure, the taste... , I'm reborn in you my love
The gentlest eyes that see into my soul, I'm reborn in you my love
An embrace that blocks the cold with warmth, I'm reborn in you my love
Like a gentle spring breeze, you swept into my heart
And unlocked the chains of despair and of doubt.
Like a welcome spring rain, you quenched the pain
And kindled the love that I've lived, so long, without.
My life blossomed as though kissed by all that is you
And my cheeks bear the marks of a fresh mornings dew.
Your love is so pure and you give it to me
And my heart sings once more with the roar of the sea.
And the love that you give and the joy that you bring
And the hope for tomorrow that you're offering.
And the song that you sing and the smell of your hair
And the glow in your face, Yes, you'll always be there.
A touch that melts me down inside, I'm lost in you my love
A trust in you I can confide, I'm open to you my love
The desire for me you do not hide, I rejoice in you my love
A faith that you'll be by my side, I'm so strong with you my love.
And now my love, I'm standing here
My arms outstretched with out a care
That you are there, arms opened wide
My love, your love, our loves abide.
