WINGS OF A FAIRY
How long I hid my wings
Fearing they'd betray my pride.
I had to keep my secret
So I sealed them tight inside.

I spent my life on knife edge
Fearing somehow I'd expose
Just how frail my fairy wings are
Should other people know.

Then I bumped into another
With his wings tips sparkling bright.
And we sang in sheer amazement
That our wings could serve us right.

What a fool I've been to hide
And I urge you do not tarry.
You'd do best to be your self
And let them sparkle, your wings,
The wings of a Fairy.
