I think that it's remarkable that our society equips men with the skill to kill other human beings and at the same time talks about the love of a God, of Christ and of love of your neighbor. Yet it condemns and punishes those who love others of the same sex. Our society teaches that killing is okay and that same sex love is detestable. It teaches hate and some, twisted by these contradictory messages, act out this hatred by commiting crimes of violence against innocent, loving individuals.
