The architecture in Mexico City can make
you feel you are in Europe. The Historic
Center of the city has been cleaned
and is a pleasure to visit. |

Two blocks from our hotel is the Cathedral.
Nearby they have unearthed the Aztecs'
Grand pyramid. |

We ate breakfast at Sanborn's House of Tiles,
a Mexico City landmark for centuries. |

The Post Office has been beautifully
renovated. |

It is typical of many gracious old
buildings in the city. |

Alexis was delighted to discover that the Paseo
de Reforma is lined with cactus sculptures. |

With all the walking we
did, we could afford a
break here but we only looked at the delights. |

The National Anthropological Museum
entrance is most striking. |

The main salon of the museum, which is
considered by many to be the best in the world,
features the Aztec calendar and
incredible statues. |
