The Underwater Citadel... Rain splattered harshly on the men's faces. The lightning brightened the sky for just a moment, then went dull. Of course, no sane person would be in a boat at this time, but these men knew nothing of that word. They knew, somewhere out there, an underwater city was hidden. It had been hidden for so long, most people thought it as nothing more than a myth. It was said a magical creature lived in the depths of the ocean, known only as the Wavamarina. They are said to be the healers of the world and can heal deadly diseases, but nobody has ever found one. The men shoved a small anchor off their dingy and looked around. Not ten feet away, a small head pops out of the water. It looks like some type of serpent, but different. The men do not notice it and keep scanning the water. The creature slowly, but surely moves closer to the boat. It makes no sound as it glides into the water. The creature is fascinated by the men and does a few tail-slaps. Then, realizing it made so much noise, it retreats under the boat. The men, surprised, turn around to see, but there is nothing there. The strongest man shrugs and they all get back to work. The creature knew they had looked away and silently jumped into the boat. It looked at what they were doing, which was quite interesting to the creature, then jumped back into the water. After about two hours, the storm had cleared and the sun had started to come up. The creature had not been seen by the men and they had given up. They hauled their anchor up and started to head back to shore. They were gone. The Wavamarina dove back under the depths of the warm, ocean water.
