ok born 1961 and lived the golden age where everyone had a valiant or knew of one, they went from a luxury car, to a good car, to a cheap car, in the late 70's and 80's you could pick one up for beer money, and it still had 1/2 tank petrol and rego, and almost no rust.
Relatives and friends would give there cars away as the car dealers offered nothing as a trade in, generally you would get 1/3 or the equivelant year and condition of a holden or ford.

CXC nice low mailage car - crusier Ranger done 300,000 in 7 years 340 fastest factory car i owned VC V8 - nice classy cruiser old school with a V8burble VH XL charger first manual VK charger -cheap and cost $300 over 5 years VH 770 rust bucket - got stung went to simms CL Drifter - nicest unmodified car, it looked and felt tight like a 3 year old car
