HEALTH GUARANTEE
Your pup has been released with a vet check up. You are responsible for taking care of the 8, 12 and 16 week shots. In addition, your pup must be dewormed and given a Parvo and Rabies shot.. Puppies shipped out of the area will be provided with the first set of shots to ensure safe delivery to it's out of area destination.
Most breeders provide the first set of shots for their pups during the 6-7 week, however, this is not the best option as the immunity system of the pups is under developed. Therefore, VK Blues leaves the shots up to the owners if released at the 7th or 8th week, making it not only healthier, but easier for the pups and owners so that you can start the vaccinations with your preferred Vet of choice. Remember, vaccinations are not preventative medicine...when you vaccinate your pup, you are injecting viruses so that they can develop an immunity to them.
We guarantee that your pup will be in good health at the time of delivery. In the unlikely event that you receive an unhealthy pup, we will replace your puppy or provide you a refund less a 5% convenience fee -- ONLY if you have your pup checked by a licensed Veterinarian within two days of delivery and provide a statement from the Veterinarian indicating that the puppy is in poor, untreatable health.
HOME GUARANTEE
Our puppies are our family. Therefore, if your encounter a series of unfortunate events, and cannot provide your dog with a stable home, VK Blues will gladly take the dog back and provide it with a foster home until you get back on your feet or find it another loving home.
FEEDING
Our puppies were raised on AVODERM, which promotes a healthy coat, helps control allergents, reduces stool frequency and dogs love the taste! We recommend continuing the puppy on an Avoderm diet. Don't overfeed your puppy -- you can tell if you have overfed if their stool is like liquid and not firm.
EXERCISE
Give your puppy lots of exercise by providing toys to play with and by giving your undivided attention! Do not bring your puppy around areas with increased dog activity such as parks or pet stores until your Veterinarian says it is safe to do so.
CLOSING
All of our puppies are alert and confident -- they are not nervous, and they are very playful and welcome the touch of a human hand. They have been raised to enter and be apart of your family.
