Glad to see more new subscribers this month. It does a heart good :o)
Well, this month I did receive lots of feedback and think I will use the answers to this instead of doing a feature article, so look to Spotlight for the interaction this ezine is dedicated to, instead of plain ole me "teaching school" the hard way, and it will still be educating all of us. Me too!! This should be a real test of Mercury Rx. . .you DO know Mercury is Rx, don't you? I am experiencing its effects with this ezine and the long, long links in my first advertisements. If you wish to check out the opportunities, you will have to cut and paste. Mercury Rx just refuses to keep these links altogether :o( Sorry! That's what I get by doing this ezine on a Mercury Rx :)
We also have an Guest article about Magi Astrology, to which I have been introduced and am now studying. It's fascinating, as you will see from the Guest article. In fact, it would be a good idea for everyone to learn a bit about it, as it might just answer some of those questions you can't find elsewhere.
Speaking of other ways and means to Astrology, have you ever been introduced to the Sunset Chart? Arthyr Chadbourne, the author of the book, The Sunset Chart, has now, FINALLY, set up a new site, SunSetChart and I believe is another way to get those answers. His sunset chart will take you through your life, six years per house, and give you invaluable information about yourself. I know he is working on a new ezine from his site and it will be a very informative ezine to subscribe. In fact, visit his site and read the information he is presenting there and sign up for his ezine.

Hi I read your article on aries-libra axis interceptions and I thought they were really insightful. I do have a question if you don't mind: how to get out of these blocked modes? What if Aries is intercepted in the 1st house?

In early life you do not get the encouragement or feedback from your
environment to integrate your identity with the lives of those around
you. Nor does the environment encourage your confidence and/or
independent action the house matters. You want to be independent but
are limited in how independent you can act in this area of life (the
house position). You are a leader, a pioneer of thought but can't find
a channel to release it. Your environment restricts you from moving
ahead in this area of life. You do one of two things. . .(end snip)
Apparently you are new to the subscriber list, so you can go to ARCHIVES and read the entire series on this subject.
Otherwise, one of my clients moved from the east coast to the western part of the country to move a planet out of her 4th house. So moving would be the only way to get a re-located chart to rid yourself of the interception. This is not always advisable because you are learning a lesson in this lifetime. But, whatever you decide to do, your basic natal chart is still the main focus in your life. Moving would only modify the type of frustrations.
It is suggested by reincarnationists that people who have an intercepted sign in their birth chart indicate qualities that were highly developed in past lives and is being set aside waiting for other signs to equally develop.
Then there is the school of thought by others that the intercepted signs were NOT fully developed in past lives and creates much frustration in the current life.
Most agree, however, that interceptions create frustrations by sign and house.

COMMENTS ON SOLAR RETURN BOOK (and interceptions)
(free download from my site)Marianne, I have to agree with you, in the section on how to do the chart I made a note (programs do this for us!) lol. I however have found that the programs will get us to the general time of a Solar Return, but I play with the time to get the exact time the Sun hits the degree/min/sec of the natal.
The book is very interesting, when I first saw my SR for this year, I though Saturn/Moon cjn in the 8th house = menopause. Scorpio rising 8th house= something ending and then I read in the book about the sign of the SR 6th in the natal 8th supports the menopause as well. I am enjoying the book very much. I like the way it explains also that the sign on the SR houses can effect 2 natal houses. :-) People just don't understand that sometimes. I teach Astrology basics on a list through Yahoo and its one of the hardest points to get across.
I do have a question maybe you can answer, its on the interceptions. I personally have noticed especially with my husband if his SR ascendant is one of his two intercepted signs, (Leo/Aq ) he has a year that is confusing for him at best. I don't often get interceptions in my SR chart, however this year is the exception and its the Leo/Aq signs! Thanks ~ Marsha =====>Well Marsha, I would say that the intercepted signs in a Solar Return, would react similar in nature to what is explained in the series (Vol 2 No 3 - March 2002). However, be thankful it is only for this birthday :o) If anyone has any thought on this, I am sure we would all be thankful for the insight.

=====>Margarita it appears that you will not have Saturn in your 8th house until his entry a year from now on September 24, 2003. That is the good news. However . . .
At this stage of the game he is transit through your 7th house, but Saturn is parallel by transit with your natal Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto. I can see your concern for the situation there now. There appear to be power struggles (Pluto) and sudden, uncontrollable happenings and bad communications (Uranus) through the written media with Saturn in Gemini. . .as well as being very widespread (Jupiter.) This situation does not appear to be near settlement soon because Saturn will be parallel with these planets for some time to come.
We will all pray for you in hopes that this situation comes out for the best for all concerned.
As far as when Saturn begins to activate your planets in your 8th house, he will leave your 8th in December 2003 and re-enter in June 2004. His first applying aspect will be to your natal Uranus on August 2, 2004 and square his natal position around the 20th. It appears there will be a whole bunch of activity quite unexpected during that time period. He will remain in your 8th house until his final departure in the first part of June 2007. It is therefore impossible to give you guidance for this time period, as this is a in-depth reading. Also there is many things that can happen due to your own "free will" by changing things as you see fit.

The Magi list 15 Enhancement/Super Aspects---each is considered a significant blessing in your natal chart & important aspects when considering significant events (i.e., wedding day, start of a new business, etc.). 5 degree orb is allowed for general/natal aspects.
These occur when one person's natal planet links with another’s. GUEST_ARTICLEThe absence of restraint, one of the generous sides of Saturn, is acting without impulse and sowing freedom within limits. The positive aura that Saturn exhibits is seen in ambition; the act of motivation. Ambition, when applied with common sense, is capable of creating a conditioned and structured energy. This energy, found in the source of our being, can be the trigger for the essential, independent self. Independence is the result of self-control; while maintaining a compromise of order, which is restored from revolutionary acts. Rebellion is also the result of self-control; whether it be assertive or defensive.
When rebellion is a need, the result is control.
Saturn himself can be the victim of rebellion. He is often judged as the frigid and denying Father of fatalism. Perhaps the lesson that Saturn is to provide is to "know thyself and judge not." It is He, who in tradition, is the source of archetypal freedom; breaking out of confinement and exploring the outer world. Saturn is the foundation and structure that can provide for the manifested freedom as ascended by Jupiter. Saturn is also the foundation and structure that grants the independence and freedom of Uranus.
More rebellion against Saturn will arise during the awakening or revelation of fundamental truth.
In addition, the quest for "seeing the light" within concise judgment of Saturn there are many gray areas indeed. There is certainly the killjoy aspect that lingers in the ominous power of Saturn. No doubt, this is perceived negatively only in fear, otherwise it is respected. The gray areas may include aversions to opportunity and to the evolution of spiritual journeys. This area, which can be seen as the shadow of Saturn, casts down the relics that exist only in the calamities of archaic history. Saturn can "black out the Sun" of those weakened by suffering. Those who consciously ignore the need to replenish faith and selflessness or endure the constant hoarding of selfish desires will be left behind in the shadows.
The fatalistic denial of free will is the downfall of such; for in this gray area there is no gain and no hope for reaching farther than the arms reach. This may apply the saying "Misery loves company," as deprivation of positive experiences claim those who linger in a melancholy and impassive state of mind.
