I am so glad to see some more new faces since last month. We are really getting slautered by the bounces by those who either do not read their mail or simply didn't get there in time. Mail-List allows 3 bounces before your name is deleted. I hope those who were on vacation sign back with us.
Remember, if you have something to contribute, don't hesitate. I realize that we are just coming off of a bad Mercury Rx [at least it was bad for me as it went Rx on my Natal Sun :-( ] but I indeed found it effecting loads of people who were not Taurus, but had planets at the degrees corresponding to the Mercury Rx. We are almost out of the shadow phase where it began, so breathe a little easier. Brighter days are coming!
Here is an update on Marilyn Auguste:

The Neurogeon called to inform Marilyn that it is OK to remove the leg brace, since sufficient healing has taken place to sustain it now. He advised to wait at least two weeks before attempting any physical therapy, and to see him in six weeks.
Thank you all for your prayers, and many phone calls. God does answer Prayer!

Marianne,
I will sound like a complete lunatic when I tell you this but here goes....
My name is Debra and I live in California. I have had the most incredible 15 month journey that I truely, 100%, without 1 doubt know I have been spiritually lead to.
In my life I have seen spirits, flown in my dreams, had visions and preminitions. I am not a psychic, but through the journey, which began when my terminally ill mother moved in with me, I have seen incredible things. I slowly and methodically was redirected toward a path that has now become my complete obsession. I have given up everything I have, including my children at this point and cannot break away.
I have learned about mythology and legends and the one interesting fact about that is..... I have lived it. I have read dendereh's astrololgy and I am the "goddess." I know it's crazy and unbelievable but it is true. If you saw me you would say to yourself, "she doesn't look much like a goddess." I would agree to that one.
I know something will happen soon, and I now know that something else will occur for me on the second moon most likely. I know why I am here and I know why I have had the kind of life I have had. I have had the life that is far from PERFECT, but what it has done was train me to feel comfortable with all kinds of people. I always joke that I ran a licensed day care, sold diamonds and penney's, grand slams and denny's. I can speak spanish to the mexican dishwasher and give him the same respect as I give when I pick up an executive that just flew in from France. If there is an individual that is suffering from physical or mental abuse, depression, self esteem, I can relate and inspire them.
I guess I have the unique ability to "emphasize" and I have always "felt" the emotions of someone and reacted appropriately. I don't regret my life, am very positive, and extremely spiritual. I don't go to church but have always had faith in a superior being.
I need the help of an astronomer at this point to verify a "linkage" between the denderah's zodiac and the astrological chart. I would love it if you knew anyone who would like to possibly assist me in verifying my birthchart, along with my two brothers, my mother, and my father. My ex-husband is definately the "sagitarious" archer who turns the arrow on himself since he abandoned his children 6 years ago. I had the bull of my mother, the self love of a father, the brother who is a bridge builder and the other who is a bridge destroyer. I have had a vivid dream where I was flying and my GRANDPA was flying next to me, "like an eagle" and I even commented to friends and family how he "looked like an eagle." Later I found that in some agent legends, the grandfather brings the young soul down on his wing.
I have gone through the last 15 months, running into individuals that ended up "having" some strange psychic ability that I never new about and affected me. I have had the Cancer myth where an embrio of the ego was planted and then released.
I woke up to some "3 dimentional spirit" tapping my arm and saying, "wake up "faye" (now i think it could have been rai") I remember saying, "who is fay?"
On the night of the eclipse I had some magnetic force overwelm me and it felt like my spirit was going to be sucked right out of me. It continued over and over for a few minutes and when it stopped I knew I had my "incarnation".
Marianne, I never knew about incarnations, chakras, agent legends, bible prophecies before and now I am quite educated ...(self educated by a spiritual guidance).
What do I do now? Please help me and please try to believe I am not crazy.
Thank you,
Debra
Collinstrug3@aol.com===> Debra: You will notice please, I corrected your spelling of my name. Now, as far as what you have gone through, I printed your feedback so that others may wish to contact you or make the appropriate comments. Your experiences are out of my realm of comments. However, there are many others here that will probably be able to give you some comments.
Far be it from me to say you are crazy, oh no. I have known too many people who have gone through similar experiences. It is just that I am not in the psychic business. I may get some psychic revelations while doing readings, but Astrology is my love. So, therefore, I must let those who know more answer your questions. Be sure and check next months issue for replies I am sure you will get.
Thanks for writing in.
God Bless You,
Marianne
CELESTIAL GODDESSES
by Dikki-Jo Mullen ©2003
In the world of the mystic goddess images are a bridge to all that is sacred, spiritual and powerful. A personal encounter with one inspires awe. It can be overwhelming and defy explanation. Goddesses images appear at different times and places in various guises in world cultures. We don’t invent them, bypassing rational faculties. Rather, they come to us on their own, unexpected and unbidden. In earlier times god and goddess figures were equally respected as channels for life force, ruling different portions of the yearly pattern. Then, the goddess faded into obscurity for several thousand years. Recently she has regained great popularity. Goddess images are a way to add a softness, a gentle quality, reinforcing cycles of food, growth and nurturing essential to comfort and well being.
Astrology, the language of the self and the psyche in relationship to the larger world, provides some hints about connecting with the goddess in the most meaningful and compatible way. Begin with the goddess associated with your familiar birth or Sun sign. She can reveal much about your potentials and purpose in life. Then consider the one connected to your Moon sign. This will give insight about the deeper recesses of your psyche, past lives and unfulfilled yearnings. Try to write a poem or song to honor your goddess. Decorate an altar with plants, candles and images which seem appropriate. Very soon her sacred presence will make itself known to offer comfort in ways most needed.

Uranus's entry into Pisces is electrical fire meeting water. It is a potentially shocking situation for anything in the water or deriving its sustenance from it. We know that with the entry of Uranus into Pisces the astral plane and its lower correspondences on the physical plane (water and water-based matter) are due for an electrified shake up.
As water is the dominant constituent of our physical vehicles, and emotion the dominant substance of our subtle vehicles, we humans can expect to feel Uranus's charge too in our emotional bodies, collectively and individually.
In Aquarius, its own sign, Uranus recommended change; in Pisces it will insist on change by exploiting water's negativity. Uranian disruption will be carried towards everything that attracts it because water cannot resist electricity. What attracts Uranus are old forms that have outlived their usefulness.
Esoterically it is said that it is all there in the beginning: so we already have an idea of what we can expect in the next eight years as Uranus sends its electric charge into the astral world via the sign Pisces.
Within days of Uranus's movement into Pisces, America, historically associated with Aquarian values, waged war on Iraq, a Muslim country, rich in oil, and dominated by a regime of which Saddam Hussein was the visible tip.
Religion, illusions and oil are all governed by the sign Pisces. Icebergs are too, and there is a lot of an iceberg below the surface. America is going to have to have a high bill for its electricity before it is done in Iraq.
In Britain we have had very, very little rain since Uranus entered Pisces, unusual in the Spring, and this has contributed to the recent forest fires, but when it is time for the rain, you can bet it will be on a grand scale involving electrical storms and flooding. Uranus works through feasts and famines. When water is involved this means, of course, droughts and flooding.
We will need to keep an eye our coastlines from hereon because the sea and the things in it and on it, subverted by Uranus's charge, may start behaving in a very disruptive way. The weaknesses in seagoing vessels, especially those capable of creating major environmental hazards will be exposed and the next eight years may well represent the end of an era for certain kinds of oil carriers.
In Brighton, this most Aquarian of cities, both piers caught fire on separate occasions in March, creating two most impressive beacons of light on the coast, a send-off to its planetary ruler as it entered another sign. The function of Uranus is to create opportunity for consciousness, hence its effect on old structures and its association with revolutionary change.
Uranus was last in a water sign, Scorpio, between 1975 -1981, the years in which the New Age became a mass movement and issued a major challenge to established religion and religious orthodoxy. This period also saw the rise of punk. Punk attacked glamour, privilege and posturing and was truly egalitarian in intent. Spiritually minded people are usually prim and scornful about such populist movements, but we are unwise if we think that cultural influences can be contained by or kept out by Chinese walls. The spiritual and the everyday are now entwined: the one serves the other because that is the nature of Aquarian spirituality. After all, its not as if the soul checks to see who is wearing the Birkenstocks and who is sporting the mohican. It is the judgemental personality who does that.
Recently, I read or heard (I forget which) an interview with Germaine Greer who was a very influential writer in the 1970s. She said something commendably honest when she acknowledged that, like many other liberals and socialists of the time, she thought she was sincere in her views, but the challenge issued by Punk made her realise that she was caught up in an intellectual posture. Punk was good for exposing pretence. Directly or indirectly, as individuals or as members of our societies we were all either shown up or shaken up to some degree and energy was released. Never Mind the Bollocks was an album and an attitude. We like that attitude here. For sure, Punk had its negative and destructive aspects but what mass movement does not? Organised religion has scarcely avoided that.
We saw teddy boys and rockers in the 1950s when Uranus was in Cancer and Pluto in Leo, punks in the 1970s when Uranus was in Scorpio and Pluto in Libra. With Uranus in Pisces and Pluto in Sagittarius we are likely to hear music coming from beyond social and national boundaries: a new generation of gypsies. Popular music will be what it is has always been, a carrier of ideas, and the Establishment will regard these new gypsies with the same kind of mistrust as it has ever regarded gypsies.
What Uranus began in Cancer and advanced in Scorpio when it challenged emotional and social structures, it will complete in Pisces when it challenges spiritual structures. Esoterically, separation is death and that now includes spiritual forms that are divorced from everyday living and the truth of self. And as was the case when it was in Scorpio, Uranus in Pisces is stirring up Pluto. So we know there will be some illusions and secrets blown out of the water, especially in connection with organised spirituality.
This will not be a good time for the reputation of religious and spiritual personalities, dead and living. Both teachings and personalities will be discredited, not necessarily because they were bogus but because they are out of date and their message is out of date. When it discredits, Uranus does not always bother with reasons and this creates the opportunity for its energy to be given a very low expression.
Uranus's movement into Pisces will see the Sixth Ray rolled up like an electric blind, taking with it much religious organisation, gurus, cults and anything else that feeds on emotional energy, remoteness, glamour and the idea of transcendence. Religiously inspired terrorism represents the last thrashes of the fishes tail.
Neptune has been preparing the ground for this development ever since it entered Aquarius in 1998. The fact Uranus and Pluto are now in mutual reception will amplify the message and speed up the process.
In Cancer and Scorpio, Uranus created the opportunity for a new way of gaining awareness of and directing our emotional energy; in Pisces, Uranus is wanting to create a new way of understanding and working towards the development of soul consciousness. But Uranus can only create the opportunity: how we engage with that opportunity is the business of each of us. Will we be strong enough to face the reality without the buffers and glamours? In general, probably not. Drug-taking and substance abuse is likely to reach epidemic proportions as a socially endorsed passifier of both directionless ndividuals and a directionless society. Almost certainly, there will be a new drug formulated to activate the pineal gland and to be to this decade what LSD was to the 1970s: Enlightenment without effort, or cosmic gate-crashing. Where are we when the chemicals wear off? Where do we go?
But we do not need to have an opinion about these things. We could save our energy for deciding how we ourselves are going to use the opportunity that is being offered to each of us to be set free from that which has now served the purposes of consciousness. We have to learn to use emotional energy differently now: we have to learn to love what is in the world and treat it with respect before trying to transcend it. Otherwise we will stay trapped and limited in the duality of material and spiritual and we will not do what we might for the three lower kingdoms in nature for whom we represent the ladder.
We will be able to have another crack at transcendence when Neptune goes into Pisces at the end of this decade and hopefully by then we will have lost some of the spiritual self-importance that we have carried ever since the 1920s when Neptune in Leo revved up the New Age.
By then, rather than exploit them, we may even be prepared for the sacrifice of ourselves for the three lower kingdoms and our planet. By then, for sure, there will be great deal of water around and, once again, spiritual knowledge may be saved in secret places for the benefit of posterity.
Best wishes
Suzanne

“May you always live in interesting times.” is a traditional phrase of meeting and parting that can be interpreted as either a blessing or curse. Its cryptic quality strikes a chord of response during these days of special changes and challenges in our world. Heavenly portents have long offered messages of truth and comfort to help while we adjust to new cycles.
Throughout the world ancient astrologers left legacies of wisdom encoded in a variety of structures. Some of the most well known are the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt which contains an accurate time line of world events dating back to 3999 BC. and Stonehenge in England which is an early astrological computer. Touring sacred sites such as these has become an increasingly popular vacation choice.
As a professional astrologer and spiritual counselor, I have participated in this trend. Visiting places linked to ancient wisdom throughout the world has helped deepen my respect for and my understanding and appreciation of astrology. Recently my quest led me to South America where I came upon one of the Southern Hemisphere's greatest ancient mysteries. The Nazca Lines. They are huge and detailed drawings constructed on the desert surface in Southern Peru. The lines form the Nazca Zodiac Calendar. It is a series of wonderful animals and other designs etched in a bleak, stony plain. They can only be truly seen and appreciated from the air. Each one is drawn with a single continuous line.
They are incredibly sophisticated; up to 200m in length each. All of them cover an area of 500 square kilometers. The greatest experts on the Nazca lines believe they were certainly used astrologically to determine and honor seasonal shifts. Organization of planting, harvesting and other essential activities was planned around the pattern dictated by the lines. The astrologers who worked with the Nazca zodiac lived from about 600 - 700 AD. Two of the mounds at this site would have aligned perfectly with the Pleiades fixed stars then. The Indians revered the Pleiades, believing they watched over the germination of seeds and guarded the life force. Fragments of pottery and other artifacts found among the lines suggest that they were the sites of rituals aimed at honoring and welcoming the different celestial shifts.
The contemporary Nazca Zodiac assigns the mysterious line figures correlations to our familiar western zodiac, beginning with Sagittarius. The symbols link to fertility and spiritual concepts embraced throughout the Andes. The geoglyphs are a source of endless intrigue and speculation. They are so dramatic when viewed from the air that many researchers link them to UFO’s and alien visitors. This interpretation of the application of the lines was compiled from the research I did while there. Hopefully it will offer you more pleasure and understanding Sun sign potentials. The emblems are all thought to bring protection and great good luck. The Nazca culture was a very primitive one in some ways. Its beautiful simplicity carries over into the interpretation of the symbols.
Hummingbird ( Sagittarius) Relates to happiness and prosperity. The Indians have seen this as a supernatural symbol since earliest times. It is an emblem in powerful traditional love charms. Hummingbirds were messengers of the mountain gods.
Frigate Bird (Capricorn) Truth and honesty are safe guarded by this bird, seen as a kind of winged angel, it aids in identifying and correcting any wrong doing. It both brings and takes away luck. It stimulates fertility and creativity.
The Root (Aquarius) Honoring the growth cycle as well as stability and a close link with the Earth powers are suggested by the root. A prayer for food and a bountiful harvest can be seen in the glyph of the root.
Fish (Pisces) In this desert climate the fish was revered as a symbol of water to come following a drought. The tie to the protection and renewal of life can be seen in the fish. It is seen also as a protector of precious water supplies.
Dog (Aries) These companion animals would keep wandering spirits company during the journey to the after-life. Dogs would also draw the mercy of the gods by their cries and barks, assuring help in times of need. Friendship is honored by the dog emblem.
Hand (Taurus) Reaching out to touch and unite with others is suggested by the hand symbol. A special tie with lightning and thunder, and thus the power of the sky gods and elements is associated with the hand emblem.
Tree (Gemini) Construction is suggested by the tree. The wood was used to make many important structures. The tree is also an emblem of eternal life. It heralds the promise of renewal after a fallow period. Knowledge of both good and evil is linked to tree symbolism, making it an illustration of duality.
Lizard (Cancer) The availability of water and other precious supplies is brought by the lizard. Mysterious, this symbol was seen as the harbinger of omens and warnings which must be heeded. Immortality and shape-shifting are the special gifts promised by the graceful and elusive lizard.
Iguana (Leo) Sacred fire comes from the Iguana. It was thought to generate hail and lightning. Energy, illumination and inspiration can be drawn from this emblem. Iguanas are sometimes kept as pets, so relief from loneliness and support from fellow beings are promised here.
Spider (Virgo) The spider is seen as a link with passion and intimacy. The web suggests a strong tie, a bonding which becomes a permanent part of two separate entities. Contacts, connections, networking are hinted here. Benevolent companions, recognizing the passage of time are also accented by the spider.
Condor (Libra) This large and high-flying bird is seen as a manifestation of the mountain gods. All seeing and omnipotent, this symbol reminds us that we are watched over and guided by higher, wiser forces. Grace and dignity as well as idealism are illustrated here.
Monkey (Scorpio) Familiar and friendly, this symbol is seen often with Pachimama, the Earth goddess. The divine forces become warmer, more human here. Cleverness, humor, and intelligence are manifested. The monkey honors the joker and trickster, he is a worthy opponent who encourages us to be alert.
