Something that I wanted to mention about choosing a remedy, is that the creation of the remedy is as important as the remedy itself. A remedy that was created during an aspect that is not compatible with your natal influences of Saturn may take longer to work, if it works at all.

A remedy that was created on a day that's in aspect with your natal Mercury aspect, may need to be frequently re-administered, and used often whenever that aspect is triggered by eclipse, transit, solar arc, whatever.

Also, remedies that are "made" on a Mars day may be fast acting, and one made on a MOON day may be excellent for emotions, but unpredictable in application.

This is one of the reasons why, I believe, in the future, we're going to need to individualize remedies that are appropriate to the condition, duration, and individual. The industrial revolution is over and so are one-sized fits all remedies. We paint a broad stroke when we suggest that we have a homeopathic remedy for someone with a first house Neptune placement, not knowing what other influences on that Neptune exist.

Also, one of the conundrums that many wholistic practitioners face, is helping a client figure out what's really wrong with them. For instance, recently, I had a client researching everything they can about candida, trying to tell me that they want to treat the candida problem they have. Having a host of other "complaints" and knowing something more about primary causes, I wanted to eliminate the F# dominance problem before working with the candida. F# dominant patterns evidence heavy metal toxicities, and are an indirect factor in candida. When heavy metals are congesting the small intestine blocking the flow of nutrition to the liver, they compromise the intestinal flora. Until they are dealt with, the candida is a continual reoccurring problem. I've told this client that until the heavy metals are treated, the candida will always be with her.

Of course, reading all the materials from companies that claim 100% results don't jive with my experience with treating candida, so she's not interested in my treatment. This is when the clients desires for getting answers that suit their healing paradigms is in conflict with the real healing.

Which brings up the issue of choosing a practitioner (or remedy) that is compatible with the client. If my Neptune or Saturn placement falls into the sixth house of my client, I am just taking their money, and not involved in the healing process. This principle goes way back into many systems of thought astrologically. I love it when I find someone where my Sun falls into their 6th, 8th or 12th house. I can fix their problems very quickly without much effort. If my Mercury falls into a nice place in their chart, I don't have much trouble explaining myself to them, either. But when my Merc aspects a Saturn or Neptune, I spend my time doing laundry or other household chores, rather than listen to myself talk blue in the face.

Another interesting thing I've noticed is that my Rooster, Rat or Monkey clients also respond excellently to my suggestions, where my fellow Dragons are attempting to compete with me in "information one-upmanship". It's also a waste of time for me to talk to Oxen. I have a daughter Ox, who gets her instructions from other family members, it just speeds up the compliance factor.

We are ignorant of the "human" factor, when we assume that we can all use the same remedies or even the same physicians, astrologers, or practitioners. Many practitioner colleagues remark that they continue to see the same "injuries" or "conditions" over and over. There are many reasons for this, the most important being that we attract a certain type of patient/client to us. Once we resolve this energetic in OURSELVES as healers, then we begin to see other energetic healing systems. We must as HEALERS be healed, first.

Of course, intellectually, we mostly ignore that concept, thinking that the principle or factors of healing don't include OUR influence on that healing system. I'd like to reference the book, Secret Life of Plants, with it's many references to healing, particularly the myth of closed systems of healing. There really is no such thing as the healer not having an effect on the healed, and this includes their expectations, desires, thoughts, experience, background, training, all of it.

Healing is dynamic, not linear. It's not causal either. If you do A, then B doesn't always occur, especially if Z, Y,or Z is in the way of B. That's why it's critical to understand what your priorities are in your growth as a person and healing. If a client says to me, I want to get rid of Candida, what I want to know is what symptom of candida is their source of irritation. Otherwise, they may never have an understanding of at what point they were "healed". Also, if I look at their chart, and determine that their progressed Moon is about to move into their 7th house, and away from their 6th, it's likely that their attention to their health will fade as they plan their wedding, anniversary, divorce, or whatever.

And lastly, since most healing is in the mind, we can eliminate a LOT of remedies once we gain a better understanding of ourselves. Medical students experience many of the symptoms of the diseases that they study, just like my client who's reading the candida literature, THINKS candida is her problem, when other more pressing health concerns are knocking on the door. I remember forcing my doctors to check me for cancer during the two year period after my mother's death from cancer. I was certain that I had cancer too. Sure, I had the cancer miasm, but the disease process wasn't present. So, instead of treating myself for cancer, I started treating the cancer miasm.

If you don't think that the mind has any influence, go into a crowded room and start itching. Then start looking around at the people near you, and make comments like, "my kids have lice, and I need to make an appointment for me at the doctor, but don't have time. I probably have them too, hahaha." Or say, "I was sitting in grass reading my book at lunch, and got the heebie-jeebies (scratch, scratch) and see who starts scratching...... people are very suggestive about energy. We can harness this "placebo" effect, for the good of healing or we can ignore it in ignorance of the power of the mind, searching for ways to spend our money on magic bullets.

This is one of the reasons that I very rarely choose herbs or lower energy products for my personal needs, and why I'm quite reluctant to recommend them clients. Vibrational products address the concerns that I mention above, and move beyond my own energetic limitations as a practitioner. If I give Nat mur (appropriate for an acute condition) to my allergic daughter, a double Aquarian, rising and Sun, her symptoms vanish. I can heal her with my thoughts, touch or glance, because of the symbiotic condition of her chart and mine. Her 7th house cusp Aries, with Mars the ruler in her 6th house make this happen FAST. I don't have that dynamic with my other daughter. We've ignorantly said that a mother's touch heals, not understanding the greater forces at work in our lives. This Dragon mother's touch is very much ignored by my Oxen daughter who has a difficult time believing, or "buying into" my suggestions.

If you are an Ox, or my 0° Pisces Saturn falls into your 6th house, you may not find my suggestions very useful personally. Intellectually, if my 0° Pisces Saturn falls into your 9th house, you may not warm to my ideas either. If my Saturn falls into your 8th house, you may feel my hands on your wallet!! LOL

There are no accidents in the universe, and neither is there any waste. Everything in our charts and lives is purposeful and needful. Some people even remark that it's perfect. In terms of healing, the chart can disclose opportunities for resolving health crisis, where to look for your healing, and how long it will take.

As most of you astrologers can probably already figure out, the can of worms is wide open. There are as many opportunities as there are people in the world, which is why I'm rather oblivious to overcrowding of the planet. We're just about reaching critical mass. Something is going to happen. And it's going to explode all our conceptions about healing, our place in the world, and what comes next. This is likely to happen INSIDE us, and our own personal revolutions about the lies and myths of science and the known world will be our salvation. The power within each of is, is contained in our chart, a mirror of potential energy, not the actualization of it, but just the potential.

I read recently that a single seed is capable of producing 10,000 volts of electricity. Seeds being renewable and plentiful could represent the death of our industrialized society based on fossil fuels. Once we WAKE up to the fact that WE ARE OUR GREATEST source of power, planted like seeds in the universe by a benevolent creator(s), or reliance on experts, healers, or other "gas stations", will evaporate like morning dew.

I wonder what we're going to do with all that power? In this polarized universe that contains suffering, the bad guys have already figured it out. They fully "know" their power. The quickest way out of a polarized universe is via "digesting" or assimilating the "problems" of our lives. This is happening quite slowly, and individually, but it is happening, and momentum is occurring. Once we reach the hundredth monkey, it will explode in consciousness. We are living in the era of that explosion. Glory be.
