Greetings to all my Treasured Friends, Clients and Family Members.

We are all having our patience tried and tested these days, as the summer winds down, toward Labor Day Weekend. It's not an easy time to be an earthling, but then, who ever told us that life would be fair?

Mars, the energy planet continues it's path through Pisces, and holds back, or just plain douses-out our torch of energy, for now. Take time to observe Mars in the evening sky, as this is the best opportunity to see the Red planet in the heavens, since Neanderthals walked the earth. Rather than resisting the energy of the moment, give in to it, and slow down a little. Consider doing some meditation, if you haven't already tried it. Yoga is becoming more and more mainstream, consider signing up for an introductory class. Try it, you might like it; see if it will actually help with your posture, lower your stress level, and increase the quality of your breathing. There are many certified instructors, and self-paced videos available. Learn to go-with-the-slow-flow of this energy, and make it productive in an internal way.

Wednesday 27 August-New Moon in Virgo

Our focus during this lunar cycle is on our health, habits, routines, employment, pets, and the repair-person's services. A habit takes 21 days to establish, so now's a good time to re-form eating behaviors that may need improvement. Take your kitty or puppy for those vaccinations at the Pet Care Clinic, and make appointments for yourself, as well, to maintain good health and well-being.

Bee-keepers, Civil-Servants, Nutritionists, Pharmacists, Tailors, and Animal Trainers will all find their services in particularly high demand. Perfectionism is the goal of the day, and we strive extra hard to be as perfect-as-we-can. The other side of this coin is that no matter how hard we try, some days, someone decides that our efforts are not-good-enough. Some folks are not happy unless they are criticizing either themselves or others. The question then becomes, are we part of the solution or part of the problem, at this time?

Thursday 28 August-Mercury Stations Retrograde in Virgo until Saturday 20 September

This is the 3rd of 4 Mercury Retrograde phases we will experience in this calendar year. Everyone knows what it feels like, when all those little details in our lives seem to snafu. During this cycle, we may notice more responsibilities than usual at our jobs, phones constantly ringing, copiers run out of paper, a shortage of refill supplies, and co-workers, whose nerves are worn to a frazzle. Stress may precipitate stomach or digestive difficulties. Everyone seems to need help at the same time; therefore, lines at the bank, or check-out counter are long, waiting rooms are packed, traffic seems grid-locked and the computer repair folks have a glut of work-orders to fill. Good time to have your oil and filter changed in your car, and perhaps replace the fuel filter as well. Clean out the refrigerator, and toss out all those containers of food that seem to hide in the back, long-after they have expired, or worse yet, have begun growing strange varieties of 'penicillin'.

Thursday 28 August-Pluto Stations Direct

Pluto, the lord of the underworld, turns direct now, after being Retrograde in its motion since last March. Transformation happens now; Construction projects involving drainage and sewer run-off problems can be resolved, the scandal-and-reform enveloping the Catholic Church continues to evolve, the issues around stem cell research are once again making news, and we may continue to have our attentions divided between the War in Iraq and challenges from North Korea and it's Nuclear Capabilities. On a personal basis, we may want to examine our personal belief systems. Are we bigoted in some way? Do we dislike others because of their religion, their foreign accent, or that ring in their nose? Are these beliefs really serving us? If not, this is a good time to release outmoded attitudes.

Wednesday 10 September Full Moon in Pisces-HARVEST MOON

Things can come to a head, in matters involving Gossip, Clandestine Relationships, Co-Workers Problems, and care of the sick. Any relationship dependent on secrecy is at risk of being discovered now; therefore anyone involved in a hidden, romantic affair may be skating on thin-ice. Detectives solve more cases, criminals are more easily caught, and unsolved mysteries are suddenly explained. Be particularly cautious if you work around any chemicals, fumes, gas, oil, or toxic liquid substances, and observe all safety measures. There could be some resolution to the crisis involving Doctors' Malpractice Insurance Rates in the State of Florida, beyond just the current temporary measures. Chance of another round of lay-offs in industries that are loosing profitability, so once-again, pink slips may be in some paycheck envelopes. Could be enough to make you want to run away and hide. If nothing else is working, try swimming, walking, dancing, or heading to the movies.

Sunday 14 September Uranus Retrogrades back in to Aquarius

Uranus, the Electric, Inventive Planet of Shock-Waves, has been flirting with the sign of Pisces since last March. Uranus has been in Retrograde motion since June. We have seen more heavy downpours,flooding, and electrical problems resulting from storms, over this summer. As the Retrograde continues, Uranus does a back-track into Aquarius once again, for a last-call in its own home territory. We may again see exciting headlines about further inventive discoveries with computers, space travel, life on other planets, more scientific discovery about brain-related disorders like epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and Alzheimer's disease, and the continuing evolution of digital photography. Pay attention to the health of your computer now, and if you haven't already done so, install or upgrade anti-virus and system-protection software packages.

Tuesday 23 September Sun into Libra-Autumnal Equinox

When the Sun moves into Libra, we hang up the broom, close the accounting program or the medicine cabinet, and focus on all our one-on-one relationships, whether personal, marriage or professional associations. Libra loves to socialize, and we are able to make friends everywhere we go now. We may be in the mood to pursue a creative hobby, indulge in a bit of rich pastry, or shop for a new piece of clothing or accessories for our wardrobe. We polish up our manners and social skills, sign up for enrichment classes, and take weekend trips to see the gorgeous fall color displays on the trees. Libras are Cardinal Air signs, indicating that they are excellent leaders in information and communications related fields. That is, once they finally make-a-decision to commit to a project. Commitment can be a big obstacle for Libra to overcome, because there are so many options, and what-if they change their mind. Now is the time for all good Libras to put their ideas into action, and shift into high gear for the autumn. Craft Supply Stores will be busy places, as we get creative for the upcoming Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Holidays. Fashion Coordinators, Make-Up Artists, Union Negotiators, Marriage Counselors, Pastry Chefs, Psychologists, Art Directors, and United Nations Diplomats will all find their days filled with exciting energy and opportunity now. If you love the significant-other in your life, tell them so, just because it's Tuesday....
