WELCOME to Astro * Logic Insights Monthly
Believe it or not but I made it again. It's taking all the energy
I can muster up to do it, but I'm determined.
Geez, last month just as I thought things were progressing
right along, one of the grandkids brought home some kind of
disease that started with a fever, sore throat and ended up
with bronchitis. And, it only hit children and the eldery. Well,
in my weakened condition, just as I thought I dodged that one,
I got it full force - all except the sore throat. I was so weak I
couldn't get out of bed without help nor even go to my doctor!
Hey guys and gals, say a prayer for me because I really don't
need anymore. Enough already.
This is the 3rd newsletter for 2006 and I haven't been able to
get the first one up on the site and Heaven only knows when I
will have the energy to get them up.

Hi, Marianne!
I am sure that you probably don't remember me, but you stayed
at our resort near
of years ago, and left your card when you checked out. I was
disappointed that we did not get to talk much when you were here,
because when I found out you were an astrologer, I really felt I
missed an opportunity to meet with a rare person that I had similar
interests. I am usually very private and in this conservative part of
the country, I get very lonely to talk with other people who are
interested in metaphysics, expecially the spiritual aspects of
astrology and numerology, for instance.
Anyway, I have been reading your monthly newsletters and enjoy
them immensly. Thank you for taking the time to do them and for
giving out your cards.
I am sorry that you have been going through health challenges and
hope you are on the road to recovery. Sometimes I wonder if these
challenges are ways to slow us down and make us make more in
tuned with the "NOW" ( I am reading Eckhart Tolle's book, The Power
of Now and it is really making me realize that staying in the moment
keeps me aware that if I stay in the now, my problems disappear).
Anyway, I don't want to monopolize your time as I know you are
very busy, but I wanted to let you know that you have a lot of secret
admirers who you probably aren't aware of, and I thank you for
sharing your years of expertise with us novices.
I do have an odd question that I was wondering might show up
in my astrological chart. I have recently been diagnosed with toxic
mercury and lead poisoning and will be undergoing oral and IV
chelation therapy for at least a year. Since I have tried to find out
from traditional doctors for years the root of my depression and
anxiety problems ( I was a professional counselor for years, and
know that I have some very real reasons for being depressed and
anxious stemming from childhood and even in utero), but my
whole system has been plagued with problems that have affected
my immune system and and stamina.
Medicines only treat the symptoms and I wanted to get to the root
of the problem. I finally found a spiritual holistic M.D. in Arkansas
who found out about the toxic poisoning. We do not have a clue
as to where I got the poisoning from. I am trying hard to hang
on but it seems like being healthy is only a faint memory. I am
hoping (probably like you are about your health) that "this, too, will
pass" and I can get back to leading a productive life.
Anyway, can this type of thing be seen in a chart? I wondered if it
had to do with Chiron maybe. Here is my birth data, if you ever
have a lull and want to check out something weird like this.

I have been doing some research on your problems and the most
I can come up with is lead poisoning which is ruled by Saturn. I ran
across an article by Dr. Mercola and he said in part regarding Mercury:
[quote] I find it almost incomprehensible thimerosal, the
well-documented, toxic preservative that contains mercury, is still
in many vaccines, years after federal agencies have mandated
that it be removed. Especially when it comes to injecting
infants with toxic chemicals when their nervous systems are
just forming, because physicians certainly should know better.
That's why you should think long and hard at the risks and
side effects associated with these toxins before you even
think about vaccinating your kids. [end quote]
This makes me wonder if you have any fillings in your teeth that contain
Mercury. This has been quite common for years and years. You should
also be very careful with anything that contains thimerosal, as they claim
it is safe and not like Mercury.
I guess you are also aware of the Mercury and Iron that is being
found in seafood more and more frequently.
It would be a good idea to subscribe to Dr. Mercola's ezine and you can

FEATURE ARTICLE
MARIANNE'S STROKE NOVEMBER 29, 2006

[Note: I asked for comments and was quite surprised at just how
thorough my student as become. We shall all learn from her
observations.]
We know at the time of your stroke, Mercury was Rx in Scorpio
(sitting on your Ascendant) and Mars was Rx in Taurus in your 6th
House.
Transiting Uranus (ruler of strokes) is sitting on your 4th house
cusp and the 4th house is one of the angular houses. Whenever
a major outer planet crosses a house cusp and especially an
angular house, there'll be big changes in that person's area of life.
With Uranus crossing this cusp I would imagine that there was and
still may be some very vacillating emotions that ran through your
mind. At the time of your stroke, Uranus was 6º Pisces 55' making
an opposition to natal Neptune and natal Mars.
Now, Mars and Uranus aren't connected in your natal chart but
Uranus and Neptune are indeed parallel (||). And, the added bonus
of Mars (ruler of the head) made for a sudden jolt! Transiting
Uranus and Progressed Neptune are contraparallel (#) by 31 minutes.
Transit Uranus was almost exact in declination with natal Neptune,
along with natal Uranus, natal MC and || the NN! We'll even
add natal Mercury to this jumbo of declinations.
Transit Mercury Rx in the sign of Scorpio playing around your Asc is
making an inconjunct to your Progressed Uranus. Mercury does rule
the brain and as I said, Uranus rules strokes. Inconjunct is the
aspect that brings us the need for some form of adjustment and
does become an instigator in a health chart. The Asc rules our
general health along with the 6th house, and Mercury rules the
brain and Uranus rules strokes.
Okay Transit Pluto is making another inconjunct to your Progressed
Pluto and Transit Vulcanus (Transneptunian) is conjunct your
Progressed Pluto. Vulcanus from my research rules strokes from
high blood pressure and explosive disruptions. Of course, Transit
Pluto in your 1st house is bringing you some form of transformation
along with some degree of dissolution in this area of your life.
Transit Pluto is making a nice trine to natal Uranus. This aspect is
probably going to assist you in your recovery. However, Transit
Pluto is making an inconjunct to your natal Venus. Now, Venus is
considered a benefic planet such as Jupiter. However, she can afflict
when in an opposition, square and I'm adding the inconjunct in this
case. Venus rules blood from veins. I don't know if your stroke was
seeping from a ruptured vein or if it was a hemorrage from an artery?
[I had a blood clot in my left carotted artery]
In any case, an inconjunct from Pluto to Venus could involve a venous
seepage. Pluto's involvement could mean a "death" of some part of
the brain or maybe your speech may be affected since Pluto is in the
1st House and Venus in the 6th House in Taurus. Taurus being the
sign of the throat. However, there's no Natal Promise between Venus
and Pluto in your chart. So, I'm saying if there is a speech impairment
at this time, it won't be a lasting thing. Transit Venus is conjunct your
Progressed Ascendant and there is a natal promise with Venus
opposing your Ascendant and also contraparallel.
[You missed the Sextile between Venus and Pluto]
Transit Mars Rx is dancing around in your 6th House of health in
Taurus (ruler of your Sun). The only aspect (a trine) Mars is making
is to your natal Neptune. Mars and Neptune are conjunct in the natal
promise. Mars rules the head and organs in the brain. Neptune probably
is what hid your symptoms in the beginning (falling). Mars also rules
rupture of vessels, the left cerebral hemisphere, (didn't hear where
your incident took place). Since Mars and Mercury were both Rx, there
was a delay in the inevitable.
Neptune does rule hospitals (along with Saturn), comas, and the
cerebral ventricles. So, with Uranus (strokes) connecting to Neptune
(hidden, hospitals and comas) and Mars (head) in an opposition
(transiting), there was bound to be some event, especially since
Uranus and Neptune are parallel in the natal chart.
Back to Transit Pluto in your 1st House, (general health and vitality)
in the sign of Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter and Jupiter rules the
arteries, apoplexy, high blood pressure and blood circulation through
the arteries, as I mentioned above, he's making some interesting
aspects. He's making an inconjunct to your Progressed Pluto and
Vulcanus who rules strokes due to high blood pressure and then
Progressed Pluto and Vulcanus are making a sextile to Admetos
who is associated with stroke and blood clots.
The Lunar Eclipse on Oct 17th was at 24º Aries (head) conjunct
your natal Uranus (stroke and sudden, unexpected events). The Lunar
Eclipse, or Full Moon, generally ends something that started with the
cycle of the New Moon.
I have to agree that the declinations on the day of your stroke are
rather challenging! Transit Mercury and Progressed Saturn were
|| and # your Natal Sun. Transit Jupiter was # Progressed Mercury
and Transit Neptune was || your Progressed Saturn and #.
Transit Neptune is making an inconjunct to your Part of Peril at
15 Cancer 39. The Transit Moon is conjunct your Progressed MC
(square in the natal promise) and trine your Part of Peril. I would
think that these aspects gave you considerable help during the
episode of the actual stroke.
