WELCOME to Astro * Logic Insights Monthly
I am beginning to think that Mercury went Retrograde on me
today. I almost had this finished yesterday and today. for
some unknown reason I couldn't find it :-( ~ so all day I
have been putting it together again. Then, just as I felt
it was ready to go, my crazy computer began double
spacing everytime I tried to type, so now I sent it to my
laptop for finish (hopefully) ~ so far, so good. This is a
long one this time, so will keep my comments short.

Dear Marianne:
Yes, the reference to this article goes back a ways,
but as I am telling you now, they're worth keeping
and reading! 1) I'm not sure whether I calculated
the marital sun correctly; but 2) it's darn interesting
either way.
At my wedding in 1999, my sun was progressed to
25 degrees of Virgo. My husband was progressed to
25 degrees of Sag. (Virgo/Sag square, do you see
where this relationship is going already?)
So, I calculated the marital sun to be 10 degrees of
Scorpio (basically, the average of the two)? Even if
this is incorrect, there are some interesting coincidences,
such as on our wedding day, the sun was at 10 degrees
of Aquarius (square). And at the end of July 1999
(when I moved out), the sun was approaching 10
degrees of Leo (another square) combined with Mars
at 10 degrees of Scorpio (conjunct).
You may not get to respond to these personally. Just
know that your newsletter is one of the few (as I said
above) that I keep and read. Thank you.

PIRATES' MOON
Star Study of the Full Moon of August 9, 2006

The Full Moon of August 9, 2006 will occur at 16 degrees
of Aquarius at 6:53 AM EDT. This is just exactly at sunrise
in Central Florida. As the setting rays of bright Luna mingle
with the glimmers of sunlight over the sea, a genuine
Pirates’ Moon will be experienced. This Full Moon will be
conjunct Neptune. Neptune is the traditional ruler of the
ocean’s mysteries as well as all that is lost and elusive.
The Sun and Saturn at 16 and 15 degrees of Leo respectively
are in direct opposition to the Aquarius placements. Adopt a
live and let live attitude toward difficult characters. Tolerance
is essential now.
The Leo conjunction accents the well being of young people
and will encourage serious, productive creativity for all.
Practical vacations and hobbies which are productive will
have the most appeal as summer draws to a close and
autumn glows on the seasonal horizon. There is a wide
grand trine in water signs involving a Mercury- Venus
conjunction in Cancer, Uranus in Pisces and Jupiter in
Scorpio. Empathy with aquatic animals such as whales,
turtles and dolphins will be at a peak. Rainfall as well as
the health and quality of the water supply can be of
concern to many.
The happiness and security of the home as well as
discussing and preserving family traditions will be a
priority. It’s an excellent time to assemble scrap booking
supplies in order to create a memoir.
Recently I was leading a tour group to Turtle Mound,
a Timacuan Indian archeological site in New Smyrna
Beach, Florida. The 75 foot high shell midden is all that
remains of this ancient, primitive Indian tribe who mostly
disappeared by 1750.
From on top of the midden a wonderful view of the
Atlantic Ocean and intra coastal waterway can be enjoyed.
As we were in meditation, trying to connect with the Indian
spirits , a bevy of adorable small children with very serious
expressions approached us and demanded to know if we’d
seen any pirates. Mom was close behind and winked at me,
she was holding a large crystal and said that it was a pirate
treasure they’d found. Born with the Moon, Mercury and
Pluto conjunct in Leo, the story teller in me rose to the
occasion. I told the small pirate hunters all about how a
yellow ship had just thrown a rope up on the midden and
three pirates with head scarves climbed up on it. They
were flying a skull and cross bones flag with a red
background instead of the usual black one and they
wanted to take the group I was leading (of all ladies)
for dinner on the ship. We didn’t trust them however,
because the pirates all had bad teeth (a dead
giveaway pirate characteristic). The trio of pirates were
so offended that they slid back down the rope and sailed
off. I then pointed to the next midden and suggested that
pirates might be over there. Excited, and yet so very
serious, the grade schoolers took off at a dead run.
Pirates are pillaging the summer of 2006. The movie
“Pirates of the Caribbean†has brought in the booty!
The mystique of Pirates has generated a treasure chest
overflowing with hundreds of millions of dollars world wide.
Pirateology, the newly coined term describing the pirate
phenomenon, can be pursued in the study of numerous
book and game sets. Instructions for “How to be A Pirateâ€
kits contain treasure maps accompanied by a skull and
cross bones Jolly Roger flag, eye patch and spy glass.
Rex Bills “The Rulership Book†gives Pluto, Mars and
Neptune astrological rulership over pirates. Pirates
represent an escape from the hum drum and ordinary.
The quest for adventure combined with treasure fever is
something we can all relate to. The pirate archetype
suggests freedom and energy combined with a touch
of magic.
Pluto sits in Sagittarius conjunct the Galactic Center,
Neptune and Uranus are in mutual reception from Aquarius
to Pisces. Both Uranus in Pisces and Mars in Virgo are
aspecting the eclipse points. This star pattern reflects the
amazing popularity of piracy. Perhaps these endearing
characters are here to rescue us from concerns about the
economy and world politics. At least for a little while
allowing us to flee to bright and remote tropical islands on
an exciting quest. The actual Age of Piracy had a direct tie
to Florida‘s beaches. I have wandered them for many years
and have always secretly felt like a pirate wench.
Millions of dollars in real lost treasure have been recovered
from wrecked galleons which sank here long ago. After each
hurricane in Florida new stories appear showing beach
combers holding gold doubloons and pieces of eight (gold
and silver coins) as well as jewelry which have washed
ashore in the storm waves after being hidden in Davy Jones‘
Locker for centuries.
The Age of Piracy began in earnest in the predawn hours
of July 31, 1715. A dreadful hurricane struck in the dark.
Off the Coast of Sebastian Inlet, that unexpected storm
sunk the Plate Fleet. The name comes from the Spanish
word plata, meaning silver. There were eleven treasure
laden galleons in the fleet, headed for Spain. The ships
were carrying untold wealth intended for the Queen’s Dowry.
Recently I was in Sebastian Inlet, a beach located just
South of Florida’s Space Coast, to visit the McLarty Treasure
museum. Dedicated to preserving some of the recovered
treasure and the story of the tragic hurricane, the museum
provides a look at how piracy became popular in the
Caribbean of old. The horoscope for the 1715 hurricane is
an intriguing one. It shows the Sun and Moon in Leo (relating
to royalty and glamour) square Neptune and Jupiter in
Taurus, the sign of ( material wealth, especially jewels).
In the Age of Piracy Horoscope Mars is at 9 degrees of Scorpio.
This is the exact placement that Jupiter ( expanding horizons
and philosophy) occupied when today’s current pirate culture
really became popular. Also, Venus was in Cancer (planet of
beauty in the sign of the sea Crab) just as it is now.
The Pirate Full Moon’s influence sets the pace for the next

The Moon-Neptune conjunction in Aquarius promises
intuition and heightened creativity for those born under
the air signs of Aquarius, Libra and Gemini. There will be
a tendency to be more sensitive and emotional than usual.
Purchase a journal to heed and record dreams and visions.
The Sun-Saturn conjunction in Leo encourages the fire
signs to focus on business. Leo, Aries and Sagittarius will
find that the greatest rewards come from a job well done.
Those born under these birth signs should be aware of
time management. Buy a new watch or appointment
calendar.
The Mercury-Venus conjunction in Cancer and favorable
Jupiter-Uranus aspect in Scorpio and Pisces encourages
water signs to travel and study. Pursue a new career
opportunity and circulate. Social and recreational prospects
are wonderful. Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio individuals might
find a pirate coin or other treasure in a wayward corner.
Mars is in Virgo. This enables earth sign people, Taurus,
Virgo and Capricorn to win debates and excel in sports.
Your leadership skills and motivation can pave the path to
success. Purchase a bicycle or some comfortable exercise
clothes. This is a very active phase for you. Prepare to

July and August

There is a crisis in the Middle East, and a crisis in North Korea.
What in the world is going on? Israel started attacking the
Palestinians on June 29, right after the fixed cross was in the
heavens on June 21, 2006.
Mars and Saturn were conjunct on 9 degrees Leo, affecting
North Korea at that time. Nine degrees Leo rules the Army,
Navy, National Guard and all service personal. This is also
the degree that rules nuclear bombs, the crisis in Korea
occurred on July 4, and it's not over yet.
Jupiter was on 9 degrees Scorpio over Israel and Lebanon,
thus the crisis in those countries. The Moon was in Taurus
over the West Coast. The other point of the cross was just
off the East Coast and they had rain and flooding. The full
Moon of July was right over New York and a building blew
up in that city, and they had the subway scare. The energy
from the summer solstice activated the war energy and
started the crisis in North Korea and the Middle East. The
summer solstice is in effect until the Fall Equinox.
August will be a very volatile month. The Sun moves into
Leo on July 23, and that is a hot fiery sign, which will
activate more heat. The Sun will trigger 9 degrees Leo on
August 1, then later in the month Mercury and Venus will
also trigger that degree which will cause more violence.
On August 7, the Sun conjuncts Saturn. This is karma in
action. At the time of the full Moon on August 9, the planet
Mars will be making an aspect to Uranus. This is a very
fiery, explosive, violent, windy, energy. The whole month
of August will be very challenging on the world scene
because there will be lots of fires, storms, hurricanes,
and violence.
I am concerned about the crisis with North Korea during
August because it could heat up again. I'm also concerned
with the Middle East.
We have been in the tribulation since January of 1991,
when all of the world gathered together to attack Iraq. There
have been wars and rumors of war since then. Now we
have reached the time of the final war. This is the war of
Armageddon, which will eventually bring in the United
States, Russia, China, Syria, Iran, and the rest of the Arab
world. Right now Israel and the United States stand alone.
This war in the Middle East may appear to calm down for
a while, and then resurface in the fall in September, October,
or November, or it may escalate now.
The Full Moon of November 5 looks very ominous because
Mars will be on 9 degrees Scorpio, over the Middle East,
and will remain in Scorpio for the rest of the month. At the
Full Moon there will be 5 planets in Scorpio. This will also
affect the Pacific Northwest by longitude, and the lower
West Coast like California by latitude. I think San Francisco,
or maybe the whole coast will be affected by either an
arthquake, a large storm, volcanic eruption or a water event
during November. Saturn will be opposing five planets by
declination. This is a very strong aspect.
The 19th chapter of Revelation talks about the war that
happens at the same time the ships of light return to help
us. They will interfere so we don't blow ourselves up in a
nuclear war. The 17th and 18th chapters of Revelation talk
about the attack on New York City and the destruction of the
old Babylon (Iraq). That all happened. The end of that
chapter talked about a stone (beam) from heaven falling into
the ocean causing a lot of damage. This was referring to the
Tsunami. Now that we have completed the 18th chapter, we
are experiencing the 19th chapter. The 19th and 20th
chapters talk about the return of the ships of light, the war,
and then the downfall of the controllers who are basically
the bankers, and the corrupt world leaders who are behind
The New World Order.
The bankers set up the state of Israel in 1948 to be their
stronghold in the Middle East because of all the oil that is
in that part of the world. Then they armed Israel with all
kinds of weapons including nuclear bombs. They are the
ones who have been calling the shots as far as the United
States is concerned. Haven't you ever wondered why a
small country like Israel could have so much power over
the United States? The normal people of Israel are good
people and don't want war. It's the bankers and the
controllers who are a challenge.
The situation in the whole Middle East is a power keg ready
to explode. After the war we will experience the energy of the
21st & 22nd chapters, which is the new heaven and the new
Earth. I can hardly wait for that energy to come in. Won't it
be nice to finally have peace on Earth? Incidentally, I
mentioned the possibility of a war starting in Israel and
spreading to Syria and Iran in my last article. You may

We are in a number 8 year (2006 = 8), which rules business,
money, power, control and sex. This is the energy the earth
is experiencing this year. August is the 8th month. In fact on
August 8 it will be an 888 day. This will be a very powerful
day. The 8th sign of the zodiac is Scorpio and is the sign
that is dominant over the Middle East. There have been wars
there for thousands of years and this energy needs to be
changed. Dark energy ends up destroying itself and I believe
this is what is happening over there right now. It is like the
Phoenix that burns in the fire and then a new bird comes out
of the ashes.
If you are still having challenges with money, power, control
or sex, you are vibrating to the number eight. It's time to let
go of those issues and move into the frequency of the number
nine, which is freedom. The word God (7+6+4) equals eight.
This energy has been the controlling force on Earth for a
long time through religion. The number nine rules the word
love (3+6+4+5). Expressing love, joy, and happiness is where
you need to be if you choose to make it through the changes
on Earth. It's time to let go of all of your issues and let love
flow through your body.
There was a solar eclipse on March 29, 2006, and the
darkness was over the Middle East. This energy is in effect
all year. Hundreds of people gathered at the old temple of
Asklepius in Turkey to watch this eclipse. Now the drama
is being played out. That eclipse was on 8 degrees 31
minutes.
Another indication of the energy that is in effect this year,
Sagittarius is the 9th sign of the zodiac and rules freedom.
The planet Pluto has been in that sign for several years
now getting people ready to experience and pass the 9th
initiation so they can experience freedom. Freedom to be
who you are and to manifest light and love in all its glory.
Pluto will be in the sign of Sagittarius until the end of 2007,
which is a nine year. The energy from the number 9 came
into effect at the summer solstice with the fixed cross. Nine
is the number of completion. Nine rules relationships and
that has been a challenge for many years, particularly the
last nine years. Many people and groups split up during
this time period because of this energy.
The solar cross that was in the heavens on June 21, 2006
shows that many people have passed the 9th initiation and
are ready to manifest freedom, joy, and happiness. There
was a crop circle in England on June 30. 2006 that had two
circles. One circle had seven swirls in it and the other had 9
swirls in it. This says to me that we will now be experiencing
a nine chakra system instead of seven.
On August 11, 1999 there was a total solar eclipse with the
Sun on 18 degrees Leo, which is the degree of Christ
consciousness. That eclipse was over England, France,
Turkey, and the Middle East. The planets formed almost a
perfect cross at that time with the Sun on 18 degrees Leo,
Saturn on 16 degrees Taurus, Mars on 16 Scorpio (over Iraq),
and Uranus on 14 degrees Aquarius. This cross set up a
period of 7 years of testing. At the time of the eclipse there
was a major earthquake in Turkey that killed thousands of
people. Now we have had another fixed cross in the heavens
and the final war has started.
The summer solstice is in effect until the fall equinox, which
happens on September 22. At the time of the fall equinox
there is a solar eclipse on 29 degrees Virgo, over England,
which connects with a point in space that holds 27 galaxies
in place. This is why England has been so important in past
history. It's the point in space where major energy comes to
Earth. This is why Jesus and Mary went to France, England,
Scotland, and Ireland. The kings and queens of those
countries are a direct lineage from the offspring of Jesus and
Mary Magdalene. That lineage was suppose to stay pure and
hold the light. The dark side worked really hard to infiltrate
that lineage. A bright spot in their drama was princess
Dianna. The powers that be did not want her as queen so she
disappeared from the scene.
England will once again come into prominence after the fall
equinox. Queen Elizabeth 1 had a son with Edward Devere,
who we know as William Shakespeare. Their son's name
was Wriothesley and he was the Earl of South Hampton.
There was no William Shakespeare. He was called Edward
Devere and he ran the Globe Theatre. He was the Lord
Great Chamberlain to Queen Elizabeth, and their son was
the Third Earl of South Hampton. He was the rightful heir
to the throne, not King James VI of Scotland. Where is that
lineage today? Where is the rightful heir to the throne of
England? That secret could make another interesting
DaVinci Code book.
The planet Saturn goes into the sign of Virgo (the goddess
energy) in September of 2007. Next year there will be a 999
vibration on September 9, 2007. It's time for a new era on
Earth. I believe there are certain things that are destined to
happen and we have no control over these events. This is
called God's law in action. If you can manage to look at life
in an observer mode without getting all upset, you will be
able to help the world much more with your peaceful and
happy thoughts.
God's plan is working, flow with it. Give thanks for all of
your blessings. Be happy! All is well in my world. With
love in your heart you can walk through fire without getting
burned.

THE LIGHTER SIDE
Ever wonder where the phrase, "You've gotta be Kiddin' me!" came
from?
Well, it just so happens to have originated through the Father of our
country
way back when, George Washington was crossing the Delaware River with
his troops. There were 33 [remember this number] in Washington's boat. It
was extremely dark and storming furiously and the water was tossing them
about.
Finally, Washington grabbed Corporal Peters [remember this name] and
stationed him at the front of the boat with a lantern. He ordered him to
keep
swinging it, so they could see where they were heading. Corporal Peters,
through driving rain and cold,continued swinging the lantern back and forth,
back and forth. Then a big gust of wind and a wave hit and threw Corporal
Peters and his lantern into the Delaware. Washington and his troops
searched for nearly an hour trying to find Corporal Peters, but to no avail.
All of them felt terrible, for the Corporal had been one of their favorites.
Sometime later, Washington and his troops landed on the other side,wet
and totally exhausted. He rallied the troops and told them that they must
go on. Another hour later, one of his men said, "General, I see lights
ahead."
They trudged toward the lights and came upon a huge house. What they
didn't know, was that this was a house of ill repute hidden in the forest to
serve all who came. General Washington pounded on the door, his men
crowding around him. The door swung open, and much to his surprise
stood a beautiful woman. A huge smile came across her face, to see so
many men standing there.
Washington was the first to speak, "Madam, I am General George
Washington and these are my men. We are tired, wet, exhausted,
and desperately need warmth and comfort."
Again, the Madam looked at all the men standing there, and with a broad
smile on her face, said, "Well, General, you have come to the right place.
We can surely give you warmth and comfort. How many men do you have?"
Washington replied, "Well, madam, there are 32 of us without Peters."
And the Madam said, "You've gotta be kiddin' me!"
