| Elliot Graham was born Elliot Shadowdawn to Celestia and Gabriel Shadowdawn in the kingdom of Kindard. His life was a happy one even tho he was born blind, and it grew happier when he was 8 years old and his baby sister was born, Lipatilia Tamilia, quickly nicknamed Lippy. He doted on her hand and foot, utterly adored her, would do anything for her and did. One night, when he was about 10, a man came and tried to kidnap him and Lippy. He fought like a dog to protect her and managed to keep the man away from her long enough so that the man could only grab him and run before the guards got there. In the fight, he somehow managed to get Lippy's birth bracelet and it went with him when he was taken. Soon, however, the kidnapper realized that in his escape Elliot had been struck on the head unnoticed and couldn't remember anything except his name. After a week of trying, in disgust the kidnapper dumped Elliot in an orphanage run by monks leaving a tale that he was discusting for being blind and that his parents no longer wanted him, which is the story he was told over the years. At the orphanage, he was quiet and stayed mostly to himself. The only one he'd talk to was Angelo, an elderly monk. He was the closest thing Elliot could remember to a father for him. Angelo taught him how to put the images in his mind on the canvas with paint, and how to sculpt with his hands. He caught on fast and one of the first paintings done was that of a little girl that he had snippits of memory of, but nothing clear. He had no idea at the time what the painting would lead to. At age 18, he left the orphanage with little more than the clothes on his back, a wooden staff, two gold rings and the bracelet. Angelo gave him some petty cash, paint supplies and some rations and he was on his way. At age 23, he took ill and found lodging with a retired military captain and his family. Once well again, the captain gave him a gift for the enjoyment his children had with Elliot while he was ill in the form of a serpent guardian twin set. At a glance it looks like a 41" staff that he uses as a cane, but in a pinch it seperates into two swords that he is well trained with and uses well. After his training was complete, he left the captain's home and started to travel once more. |
| Over the next 14 years, he just traveled from area to area doing paintings and sculptures by request or just selling his own stuff. He made a pretty good living concidering and was happy. He finally decided to settle in one place and bought a tree house about 10 minutes from the clearing in the enchanted forest. A few days after moving in and getting settled, he traveled to the clearing and met a woman there named Marie. She described the scenery for him so he could paint it, then afterwards went with him to his treehouse to help him lable his paints and to do a "body painting" where the paint is applied to the body then the model lays on a large canvas. It was after the painting was done that he realized he had feelings for this female vampire, very strong ones. After some talk on the matter, they both realized the feelings were more than just that, they were in love. She quickly pretty much moved in, but not officially till recently, and spent nights watching him paint or sculpt. Life for Elliot was quite grand now, but would soon take a turn for the even better. A messenger arrived one day, announcing that Lady Panzer of Kindard had found one of his paintings and would like to see more of his work. She arrived early in the morning and after brief introductions and her discovering his blindness, she got to the paintings and nearly choked when she saw the little girl. After much paniced conversation and confusion they discovered that they were each other's lost siblings, Lady Panzer was Lippy. They talked very little after the realization and Elliot hopes that they will have much time to discuss and talk. The snipits of memory are coming more regularly now, but still nothing lucid. Names, sounds, scents but not a single section of actual real memory. He hopes that Lippy and his love Marie can change that with work and a lot of love. With that love and a little bit of strange magic, something he never thought would happen or that he could live with has happened, he has gained sight and lost his regenerating blood. As a direct result, he applied and was accepted into the Kindard Wiccan Council of Nobles. A guild whose purpose is to protect the king, queen, and the whole of Kindard. His father was head of the KWCN and now Lippy is. His acceptance was one of the proudest moments in his life, shared by the recent birth of his second child, a daughter named Annika Marie |
