| Saphire is the eldest daughter of Emerald and Duncan Jade. Born into a large family, 12 children to be exact. Though even from birth her life has been clouded with a certain amount of mystery. Dead at the time of birth, she suddenly started taking air even before a heart beat could be heard. Within minutes she went from dead to a very healthy and strong baby. But life was hard in the badlands, the ground was tough and water was scarce, but they held on to their land and fought to keep the family together. Life was well until age 10 when her 3 youngest siblings died of scarlett feaver and a year later her father, Duncan, was trampled by the families yak while plowing a new field for food. He suffered three days before bloodloss and infection took him, leaving her mother Emerald to raise 9 children by herself. Instead of trudging on she went into a two year depression that ended with Emerald throwing herself out a third story window, dying on impact. Rather than be seperated Saphire and her brother just younger than her, Duncan jr, did not report her death and just had a very private burial out by where their father was buried. Now 14, Saphire and Duncan had to raise the rest of the family, and she did until her 18th birthday when she packed up and set out to find herself and her place in the world. |

| Saphire met her first husband, Mikilo ShootingMoon, while serving in the military during a severe war between two mages. She and Mikilo were reserves sent to settle minor squabbles and skirmishes between the two sides that could potentially injur innocent towns in their wake. Saphire would fight, while Mikilo would heal the wounded. By the end of the two year war, the now 20 year old Saphire and the 23 year old Mikilo had fallen deeply in love. They were married shortly after the wars end and had a marriage spanning 17 years. They had a now known total of five children together. Mithula, Kyrandia, Tiera, Orion and Fiblonus. About 5 years after they were wed, Saphire was pregnant with their fourth child and had given birth while Mikilo was away at a nearby town. A few days after the birth, a small band of theives came through the area and decided that the infant, a boy she had named Orion, would be perfect to continue their line and he was taken from her. Before leaving, however, she was raped unmercifully. Mikilo returned the next day and Saphire told him only that the child had died and she had buried him in the back yard. Nine months later she gave birth to another son, Fiblonus, and she just let Mikilo believe that he was his child rather than tell him the truth. A few months after their 17th wedding annaversary, their world would be upturned before they knew what was happening. A dragon began an attack on a neighboring village and their eldest son Mithula went to the villages aid. He was killed while executing the death blow to the dragon and it was later found that their youngest son Fiblonus (not Mikilo's child) had witnessed the death and had gone quite mad. A few nights after the burial, Saphire and Tiera had gone to a neighboring village for a meeting and upon their return found their home burned to the ground, Mikilo dead, and Fiblonus bouncing around like he'd done a good deed, ranting about demons and purification. He was sent to an institution where it was later found he had escaped from shortly there after. Within days of Fiblonus's institutionlization, Kyrandia left home leaving Saphire and Tiera to find a new home and rebuild their lives on their own. |
| It was not long after Mikilo's death that Saphire met the man who would be her second husband, Philo FireStar. He was a local inn keeper who, when told of the events leading up to their arrival, gave Saphire and Tiera free room and board until they could get on their feet. After a few weeks, Saphire got a job at the neighboring tavern as a barmaid/bouncer and started paying Philo for the rooms even though he said it wasn't needed. After a few months, however, Saphire started feeling a fire in her that she had thought was dead and she and Philo started courting. It was a few months after that when Philo became Saphire's second husband. He sold the inn and they bought a small spread of land in the woods and started to build their life together. Which would prove to be short bliss. After three months of marriage, they started clearing the land and a strange pack of wolverines decended upon them. Killing Philo and mutilating Saphire. She lost the last three fingers on her left hand and her arms and legs were shreded to peices. Tiera came out looking for them when they hadn't returned that night and found Saphire near death. She nursed Saphire night and day for several months until Saphire was healed on the outside. It would take much longer to heal on the inside however. Saphire decided it was time to return to the home of her birth to recollect herself and figure out who she was now. Tiera stayed behind to continue her work as a weaver. |
| It was on her way home to the badlands where her life would take the sickest twist. En route to the badlands, she came upon a large party of men who were savagely raping a village woman. Saphire didn't even think twice about it, she charged in not caring about if she lived or died in the attempt. She took out seven men before they had her tackled. But instead of killing her, the leader of the band, a man named Sean Blackthorn, took a fancy to her and she was enslaved as his personal whore. They implanted a small disc behind her ear used to control her when she got out of control, and there she spend six years. During that time she was tortured, raped and beaten by Blackthorn on a nightly basis until he finally tired of her and sold her to his second in command, Dromandov, for ten million gold. Dromandov was worse than Blackthorn ever was, instead of just beating, raping and torturing her in the usual manners, he raped her with implements such as spiked poles, mace and spiked clubs. This was done nightly without remorse. He also enjoyed having her slowly killed and then resurected for kicks. After four years with Dromandov, she managed to escape after he left a dagger where she could get a hold of it. She mangled him and made her escape. She spend two years moving from mage to mage having parts repaired, the disc removed, and then returned to the badlands for a year to concoct a story to tell Tiera about why she was gone for 15 years. Not until recently did Tiera find out the truth, that Saphire spent 12 of those years in slavery. |
| Saphire, now in her 50's, joined Tiera in her new home in the Enchanted Forest, where she made many friends. That including a charming, seemingly young, man named Lord Corwin. They had a wirlwind romance and were soon married. As a wedding present to Saphire, Lord Corwin reversed the aging process and made her young again in both looks and energy. An added perk to looking 21 was that she was now immortal. Shortly after their marriage, however, Lord Corwin dissapeared, leaving the pregnant Saphire to have and raise their son Atrus on her own, not knowing if her husband was dead or alive. After several years, she found that he had returned and she tracked him down and things were as they were supposed to be. Or at least she had thought so at first, until she found out that he had thought his wife dead and had married another, a woman by the name of Lady Joanna. Angry as all hell, and pregnant again, she left him and went on with her life, giving birth to a daughter she named Ti'Anna. After a few more years, Lord Corwin had left Lady Joanna and was engaged to a woman named Serenity, who after a little while revealed that she had a few secrets herself. She had fallen in love with her bodyguard, a man named Hunter Tsukino aka Ixar Koon. Upon finding this out, Lord Corwin in a roundabout way, commited suicide and Saphire, for the first time, was asked to use her time traveling powers to go back and save Lord Corwin. After deciding that she could not live without him, she did and saved him from death, though he doesn't know it. After a small period of bliss that included the regeneration of her fingers and a re engagement to Lord Corwin, her life would be upended again. Dromandov returned by order of Blackthorn to re-enslave Saphire. The battle was brutal and nearly ended her life, but she defeated him. A few days later, Blackthorn himself came, but with a card up his sleeve. He had kidnapped Tiera's son Darphus and offered Saphire a trade, her for Darphus. To Lord Corwins dismay, she took the deal and suffered through seven months of unending torture before killing Blackthorn and escaping. But the experience had taken it's toll on her. She wasn't speaking and rarely left the house until one night when she went to the tavern in a nearby realm called Willoby Estates and picked a fight with Lord Corwin that ended with her dying. He came after her in a mindscape and tried to convince her to come back with him. She did so only after making him watch and feel what had been done to her during her seven months of enslavement. He did so, almost killing him, and she returned. Her life is a crazy one, raising Telanis and Katran, running the FireStar Ranch, plus holding down a job in earth realm as a lt. in the homicide division of the NYPD, and working hard on the recovery and organization of each of her past lives. She has discovered that her soul, is one of an ancient race from the dawn of time that when each body died, the soul traveled instantly to the nearest newborn that had died moments before. She has managed to pick out 18 bodies, but it only covers 18,977 years of her millions of years. She strongly doubts she'll ever pick them all out, but she is sure trying. Among her discoveries, was that of her last body Sarah Macelli. After much work, she picked out 90% of the memories involved in that life, which included that her best friend and lover was her good friend in this body, a woman named Cher. Saph enjoys her time with Cher talking of the old days and helping her out. Part of helping was recovering the memories of Cher's forced embrace, painfull for both of them. Aswell as the ressurection of her last body and copying of the memories of that life. It nearly killed her, but she pulled through with minor injury. She is recovering emotionally from the death of her partner of 10 years in the NYPD, Frank Marcus. Killed in a shootout with homicide suspects, she was unable to ressurect him before backup arrived and it haunts her severely, even if she wont admit it. Her past has since come back to haunt her once again in the form of Sean Blackthorn. She was tortured immesurably but was saved by Corwin and Cher, Blackthorn killed once and for all. But soon, even tho she has no memory of it, the two saviors experienced something amazing. They found out her soul's true history and how important she really is to the balance of things. Unfortunately, the creators insisted that she not know any of it. Recently Corwin dissapeared with their youngest four infant children and is presumed by all as dead, she moved on with life and has bore another child with her present lover Daniel RedWolf. |
