| Sarah Louise Macelli was born in the crossover year of BC and AD to Veronica and Antonio Macelli in Rome Italy. She had the basic life of a young italian, not horribly educated and taught that women belonged in the kitchen. An ideal she rebeled against feaverantly. She refused to marry when her father tried to organize a man for her, which made her all that much more of a family outcast. It didn't improve family relations when at age 13 she met a young woman named Cher Capelli. They became fast friends and soon began to experiment with feelings they had one another. It soon became obvious that she was what is now known as bisexual, more towards women than men. She enjoyed a ten year relationship with Cher during which they got into all sorts of trouble ranging from "educating the captain of the guards daughter" in a small pond to streaking through town naked. She loved Cher deeply and prayed it would never end, unfortunately it wasn't to be. Around the time they turned 23, Sarah decided one night to actually do what her father asked and checked in at home before her and Cher went out for the night. It would be a mistake that would haunt her forever. By the time she got to where Cher and her were supposed to meet, Cher had been forcebly embraced and her own heart was starting to tear. She hurried Cher to Cher's parent's house and went home to tell her own parents what was going on. By the time she returned, Cher had awoken to her first bloodlust and slaughtered her family. What hurt more was that once Cher heard her voice, she came to and because of what had happened she told Cher to go, for Cher's safety above all else because she could no longer protect her. She went and Sarah spent the remainder of the night covering up the crime. She buried Cher's parents deep in the woods, cleaned out the Capelli home so it looked like they had packed up and moved, then concocted a tale about her and Cher having a fight and the Capelli's moving suddenly. The towns folk bought it, and Cher was safe from them. Sarah's gift to her, the last she knew she could give. Shortly thereafter, she made a choice to marry a man in town named Bernard Lyons, the mortician. The marriage lasted till she was 34, when he died from the effects of his job. However, when she was 28 a wonderous thing happened. She did something that activated intense magery and a very long thread of memories that went back to the dawn of time. She hid this from her husband, but set a spell of age stop and ever lasting life. He never caught on to her lack of aging, something she was glad for. After Bernard died, she packed up and moved to Venice, returning to her birth name and started working as a courtesean. Every 30 years or so, she went traveling and returned 30 years later with claims of being her daughter. It worked and covered well, she didn't call herself smart just lucky. Around the time she turned 1450, she was working as a courtesean again and caught the eye of Marco Venier, Italian royalty. She became his personal courtesean and spent 10 years being his mistress. Unfortunately, Marco made the mistake of ceasing his marital obligations to his wife and she became hideously jealous of Sarah. She was sent to the dungeon for the next 30 years. When his wife finally died, Marco had Sarah retrieved from the dungeon and much to Marco's surprise, she was still young a fter 30 years while he himself was grey and aged. She admitted to him her magery and was offered a deal. Her freedom in exchange for his youth and ever lasting life. She took the deal and dissapeared into the countryside of Italy. He discovered, however, after she left how he felt for her and began searching for her, a search that continues today. After leaving Marco, she spent 300 years floating from town to town. Meeting people, working as a seamstress, midwife, basically any job a woman could do until around the time she turned 1900 and she found herself back in Venice during a time of great turmoil. She made the mistake of getting close to the deacon's daughter, and for it she was burned at the stake as a witch, for bewitching his daughter. She was buried off holy ground and there she laid until the year 2001 nearly 2002. It was then that the woman who inherited her soul, named Saphire FireStar, tired of Marco's pursuit and ressurected Sarah's body, giving her only her memories as Sarah and the knowledge that she may still have the youth and ever lasting life spells on her, she has very little magic but has gained usage of the english language to use as she wishes. She now is accostoming herself to the new time, the new way of life and the fact that after all these years she has finally been reunited with Cher. After a brief period of adjustment, they have rekindled their love affair and are now partners in life with an open relationship allowing each to see whomever they want whenever they want. Cher is helping her with the toughest task of her life, the raising of a set of quadruplets she named Thomas, Sandra, Shannon and Christopher and the re-incorproation of her son Anthony Gene to the family. He was kidnapped at a month old and only just found his way back to his mother's loving arms. |
