"Sweeps" To Avoid (Or Enter By Mail)
The following sweeps I either avoid or enter by mail. You'll find links to some of these even on sites you would not expect.
Prize America/Advertisers Clearinghouse
Avoid. Spam city. From their rules: " By registering for the Promotion, contestants are also opting-in to become registered members of Advertisers Clearinghouse, and agree to accept e-mail messages from Advertisers Clearinghouse, and its respective advertising affiliates."
Eversave (Prospectiv/ePrize)
Enter by mail. It's a one per person entry. They usually have a quarterly entry and draw and are part of other creative presentations run by ePrize. If you sign up as a member, can only only enter thru special email offer. Spammy. Their email is not useful and even if you think something might be interesting, you have to give up more information to get to it.
Quality Health
If and when they offer a sweeps, enter by mail.. Again, their email is not useful and even if you think something might be interesting, you have to give up more information to get to it.123 Types
The following list is just a couple of spam city Creative Presentation "Sweepstakes". The entry is as follows:
- Sign up (no way to get out of the spam now)
- Complete the "survey", excepting at least one offer.
- Fulfill sponsor offers (buy something, sign up for credit card or membership, etc.)
The 1, 2, 3 part is usually on the entry form at the bottom, not in the rules. Also, the prize is as listed on the entry. If it says a Dream Wedding worth $50,000, that is the prize, not $50,000 cash. Prize substitution is at the discretion of the sponsor.
Avoid, but if you really must enter these, enter by mail.
