When I am raptured up from this world, I want those who may be left behind to remember me as the girl who could not and would not stop praising God. Even in the midst of adversity, when it doesn't seem like I have any right or reason to praise Him, I will yet praise Him.
I was born in Atlanta and raised near Jonesboro, Georgia.
Jonesboro is not all that country anymore, but every now and then you can still run across a little chicken farm or see a horse stable in someone's backyard. I grew up having both parents in my life which was a real blessing, even though I didn't always recognize it as such, and went to private school up until the 7th grade. I later graduated from Mount Zion High School; the Lord blessed me and I was able to graduate at age 16 -- I believe I was the youngest graduate from my school up until that time.
My short-term goal underneath that is to reach teenagers here in Georgia and across the globe with the message of Jesus Christ, letting them know that just because you're saved, it doesn't mean your life has to be dry and dull. Quite the contrary. At my old church you had basically two options: begin training to become a preacher or sing in the choir, and neither of those is my calling (when I sing, Praise God, I am making a "joyful noise" unto the Lord). Here at my new church, though, we are allowed to let God use any gifts and talents that we have.
My next major goal is to raise up an army of steppers all over the U.S. sold out to Jesus Christ. We will have the same teaching, the same heart, the same mind, etc. so that anywhere in the country whether it's a group here in Georgia or in California, they will be recognized as the Alpha Omega Praise Steppers.
