Knovo is in footwear marketing and distribution and obtained the Philippine license for Garfield Children Shoes from United Feature Syndicate of New York in 1989. 

To focus on the Garfield business, Vic successfully restructured all aspects of company operations from product development, supply chain and outsourcing to advertising and marketing. Sales grew tenfold in less than 3 years, establishing the company as a leading supplier of children footwear to department store chains.

Started as specialists in the electro-mechanical engineering of building projects, RNFA expanded to total engineering and management services under Vic's direction. Today it has become a leading solutions provider to the local semiconductor and telecommunications industries.

Vic started as a part time consultant, helping the firm develop and implement marketing strategies to gain new business. Promoted to director for business development in 1986, Vic oversaw marketing and general business development and introduced new services for infrastructure and industrial projects. He developed a new market segment after winning major contracts from Intel, AT&T and PLDT.

Canary is the apparel company responsible for popularizing the animated character Garfield in the Philippines.

A younger brother, Benson, started the small T-shirt business as a single proprietorship in 1978. Vic joined a year later, helping set up a manufacturing operation with 10 sewing machines to serve the requirements of several corporate accounts. In 1984, Vic spearheaded negotiation with United Feature Syndicate in Hong Kong and in New York for the licensing of Garfield apparel products. He subsequently directed the launching, promotion and marketing of the brand, which resulted in popularizing Garfield in the Philippines.

Vic continues to provide policy directions to the company as a member of the board of directors.

Manager

SGV is the leading professional services company in the Philippines and an Arthur Andersen member firm.

Vic started as a technical assistant at the consulting division doing data gathering and research. Over the years, he took increasingly responsible assignments helping clients on feasibility studies, financial evaluation, job evaluation, organization and management systems, and institution building and improvement. He helped local and foreign companies evaluate and plan investment projects, many of which are now successful concerns such as Kawasaki Steel's iron sintering plant and Henkel of Germany.

In 1978, Vic managed the construction of the SGV Development Center, completing this 8-storey office/training facility ahead of schedule and within budget.
