I like to play with search engines. Sometimes I type random words, like colors or shapes. For example, if I type the word "green", I might get results about people with the last name Green. If I type "circle" or "square", I might get movies or songs with those words in the title. Sometimes I type random letters, something like "hbedbfujf". Usually I'll get "nothing was found under that term" or something like that, but sometimes I'll find something.    Sometimes, I type my name in a search engine to see what comes up. I've never found anyone with the same first and last name as me on the internet, but I find people with the same last name as me, and people with the same first name as me.        My name is Valerie, and I typed that into a search engine one day. Interestingly enough, I found an android company that is developing an adult female android - named Valerie. This made me chuckle, and I clicked onto the page.     To my surprise, I looked at the pictures of this android, and I couldn't help but notice that there were similarities between it and I! Not only did I share the same name as an android, but we kinda looked alike. An odd coincidence.

This is the original picture of the Valerie android, which I saved the picture from the website it was on. I got a crazy idea - what if I put it into Microsoft Paint, and make a few changes to really make it look like me?

Caked on some eyeliner, put some glasses on, and put some blocks of a tanner shade of paint onto the original picture's pale skin, and this is the resulting picture. (Yes, I know, this is not high-tech at all, I'm no computer/graphics expert.) Wow, it's kind of like looking into a mirror! Seriously, is it just me? Doesn't this closely resemble me?

I put a few pictures of me here for comparison. I have other pics (heck, too many pics of my mug on this site) on my main pictures page and the head shots page. I'm not obsessed with myself, I just thought this whole coincidence was entertaining enough to make a page out of it. I don't know, maybe I'm the only one to see it. Anyway, enjoy!
