Atlantic City, June 7, 2003

Hmm, how should I start this? I went to Atlantic City, New Jersey on a bus trip on June 7, 2003 with my friend (yes, an insane idiot like me actually found a friend!) Andrea and her family. It's about 4 or 5 hours to get there from where I live, give or take a little and possibly including stops and such. As we're under 21, the only place in AC's famous casinos we can go in are in the lobby and bathrooms (I could tell you a few stories about self-flushing toilets and automatic sinks, but I won't. If I really wanted to, I could tell you stories about the difficulty of using bus bathrooms while in motion, but again, I won't.) Anyway, we spent most of the time on the boardwalk, and since this time (we've been here before) it was rainy and the wind blew around a lot, (umbrellas blown upside-down a few times) we stayed under the shelter of many of the little shops along the boardwalk and a pier/deck type place with a view of the ocean, where we took a lot of pictures. So, without further ado, here are my "vacation pictures".

These are pictures I took accidentally by hitting the camera button, haha. The first is a picture of my hand as I was holding it, and if I had any clue what the second was, I'd tell you.

Here are two pictures of the beach.

Another beach picture, and a trash can that read "Trash Only". Andrea didn't like my suggestion that she jump in there. :)

Here are three pictures I took of Andrea on the boardwalk. Is she trying to catch rain on her tongue? :)

The first is me posing with an umbrella. In the second I look like I'm getting ready to hit an approaching mugger or something. In the third, I'm endangering myself by standing on slippery rails.

The two of us were doing the same thing here, I took a picture of her taking a picture.

..."butt" of course I got revenge! :)

I became the butt of the joke when least expecting it...

Small shops along the boardwalk, and the top right shows cart pushers (you get in a cart, a person behind pushes you along) walking up and down.

A FINAL NOTE: Sorry everything is so crammed together, but the webpage didn't give me much space to put things!

Update August 11, 2003: Andrea got a camera developed and gave me a few more pictures of this day.
