| The Object of My Affection | ||||
| One Life, While Dreaming I dreamt I saw a girl walking away from me. She stopped to look, but I stood motionless: Fear overcame me so I let her pass me by. As I lay in my bed, in and out of dreaming My phone rang and rang…and rang. In my dream I saw the phone against her ear, but I did not wake. With my eyes wide open you came into my life. You stop and look; you call and call and call, And my heart knows: reach out, answer, it’s her. |
