                                                           THE MESH

From the desk of the Editor

I was at last week's meeting held at Venice High School and was glad to see the support of so many club members for the ""Awards of Excellence" community luncheon.  From the looks of the names mentioned in the program as contributors we have a lot to be proud of as a group for providing an ongoing incentive to the students of Venice High.  The program was late getting started and unfortunately I had to "scoot" before it really got started.  I am sure you can get a full report of what went on at this week's meeting.  All I can say is that Pres. Willie looked very presidential and I hope that JR got over his heartburn.

Don't miss out on this weeks meeting, the card draw is for big bucks and there is only a dozen or so cards left so your odds are good.

The invocation will be by Tony Medley and the Raffle prizes will be provided by Christopher McDowell.
