| Pictured is a Aust. pattern No. 9 Chevrolet Artillery tractor . Body built by the GMH plant at Woodville Sth Australia. These vehicles towed the famous 25 pounder field gun and they were still in service into the 1950's . . . The ladder mounted on the off side is used to unload the spare wheel , stored internally . The 25 pounder ammo was also stored internally in lockers . A power winch is mounted mid chassis . |
