VMVC member Jason Stagg emailed in some paint colour codes from the British Standard Chart ( BSC ) . The BSC system was in use pre WW2 and it has been updated over the years . I have cropped the chart and shown here are some colours that will be of interest to restorers . Does anyone know if the tinter numbers mentioned may be applied to the contemporary Dulux or Wattyl brands around today ? |

Now here is an unusual vehicle in Australia . Jason Stagg found this WW2 M29 Studebaker WEASEL in a shed somewhere . These are fairly common overseas , but rare here in OZ, some of these were used in the Snowy Mountains ski fields in the 1960's . Around 3 or 4 are known of in Australia at present . The Australian antartic division also used one in the 1950's down in Antartic territory .. Powered by a 6 cyl Studebaker" Champion" car engine . |

Sad Jeep snapped somewhere . The markings on the windscreen are interesting . Note the non standard front bumber bar . Looks like a roll over has occured by the look of the windscreen . |
