Eifel Zoo in Pronsfeld
I'm feeding a llama! The cages at this zoo are easily accessible. I could walk right up to the monkey cage and grab the monkey or walk right up to the lion cage and poke at the lion. There were no barriers like the zoos in America. It's just crazy!
again, these links are in German, I couldn't find any English translated pages... but the pictures are still cool!
Sculpture Park in Prum
This sculpture park was really cool. There are hundreds of bronze statues and thingy-ma-gigs to ooh and ah at in the yard and inside. The link has some good pictures of the scultures, check it out.

Cochem -- Reichburg Cochem
click here for more cool info about it!
Cochem castle is really cool, especially since there was a  medieval festival there at the time I visited. We could either take a bus or risk leg cramps walking all the way up here. So, I paid my 2 Euro for the convience of the bus and almost suffocated from the stink and body heat from everyone else. As there were no windows that could open or any ventilation, I kept thinking, 'man, I hope nobody farts'. When we arrived, everyone piled out gasping for air. Needless to say, I walked back down and found this charming street lined with wine shops all offering free samples!
