EXPERIENCE:

INSTRUCTOR, FORT BEND ISD, HUNTSVILLE ISD, GROVETON ISD.
Taught high school computer science, math, business computer information systems, business computer programming, English, webmastering, and theater. Developed math and computer science curricula.  Coached UIL computer science, prose and poetry interpretation, and extemporaneous speaking.  Tutored TAAS math/reading and SAT math/verbal.  Served on discipline committee.  Assisted with "Battle of the Brains." Supervised evening computer lab. (1992-present)

PUBLICATIONS SPECIALIST, GENERAL DYNAMICS
Developed 150,000-line computer-based training course for computer-controlled mapping system. Wrote MIL-STD operating instructions, assembly and disassembly procedures, and theory of operation for automatic test equipment hardware and software. Theory ranged from circuit level to system level. On own initiative, created computer programs to increase efficiency in use of word processing system. Submitted employee suggestion documenting these programs, and received award based on estimated $16,577 per year savings. (1989-1991 and 1984-1986)

SENIOR TECHNICAL TRAINER AND WRITER, FUJITSU CUSTOMER SERVICE
Developed self-study course for repair of microcomputer-based layaway tracking system. Developed and taught two-week ATM repair course, one-week POS repair course, and two-week minicomputer repair course, which included Pick operating system. Produced information packages covering 15 types of printers and plotters and two types of microcomputers. Edited service manuals and technical reports for above equipment. (1986-1988)

ELECTRONICS INSTRUCTOR, USN
With no previous experience on CAT (Computerized Automatic Test) station, in less than four months became fully qualified to teach seven-week course. Consistently received excellent instructor evaluations. On own initiative, rewrote 15-hour lesson on Digital Word Generator unit. Grumman requested copy of completed package for use as a model lesson. Developed new training aids, including sample programs for BASIC language lesson. Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of CAT station. Created test programs which provide additional information on station status. Developed troubleshooting flow chart. (1981-1984)

Received William O. Florstedt Award for outstanding performance in USN Instructor Training School.
Named NAMTRAGRUDET 3011 (USN) Instructor of the Quarter.
Awarded USN Master Training Specialist designation.
Received awards for suggestions submitted while employed at General Dynamics and Fujitsu Customer Service.
