He married EFFIE JEAN NEWMAN August 23, 1888 in Mound Valley,Kansas, daughter of JOHN NEWMAN and PRISCILLA JANE.

All these children were born,in Angola Labette Co,Kansas,except Pauline who was born in Coffeyville,Montgomery Co.Kansas.There was one child unnamed a son who was born a silent death.William fFrank was born in ill.and then moved to Kansas,met and married Effie Jean Newman,I have copy of Marriage cert.My father remembers William,he use to shun his false teeth at them,scaring them.
Willliam had a stroke at his daughters home in Compton,Calif,and was rushed to a hospital in Los Angelas,were he died,and was burried in Inglewood,Calif.
William use to tell stories to his family about riding the plains by horse back in Oklahoma,with his Indian family,for his father Isaac Ambrose`s wife,Margaret was Cherokee indian.
