Battling
Battling is rather easy- it's just like the game! I'll probably test everyone on battling though. As most people know, each Pokemon has a stat, attacks, and type. Each attack has a Type and a Base Attack as well. I used to have to crank damage by hand, but now, I found this!

Pokemon Damage Calculator

This is an awesome tool. Basically, since you'll know the level and the stats of your opponent's, you can use this to figure out damage for you! You can even add in special things, like Rain Dance, Burn, Light Screen or Critical Damage. However, Before you figure damage, there is one more thing you have to do- Figure if it Hits or if it's Critical. That's simple. Roll a 100 Sided Die (die rollers can be found all over the net). Depending on the ccuracy of the attack, you need to get a roll under the printed accuracy. For example, if you use Tackle, you need to roll a 1-95 to hit. For critical hits, there are 4 levels.

Level 1: 12%
Level 2: 25%
Level 3: 37%
Level 4: 50%
Level 5: 62%

Most of the time, your Pokemon is at Level 1, meaning if you roll a 1-12, it's a critical hit. There are certain things that raise your Critical Level like attacks and items. To reach Level 5, you need to have a lot of those. Example: Use Focus Energy (+2 Critical Level), then use Slash (+1 Critical Level) holding the Scope Lens (+1 Critical Level).

Special moves

Dodge- Each Battle, a Pokemon can Dodge ANY attack at ANY Time (even if they used a move before hand.)  The Accuracy is as follows.
Fastest Pokemon in Battle- 80% of Success
Slower Pokemon in Battle- 80-(Difference in Pokemon's Speed from the Fastest Pokemon's Speed)% of Success

So, if Pokemon A has 62 Speed and Pokemon B has 73, then Pokemon B has an 80% of Dodge working and Pokemon A has a 69% chance (73-62=11, 80-11=69).
