| O.k., well... I'm too lazy/busy to make a Location list, so I'll say you guys use your judgement when running into wild Pokemon. For catching Pokemon, it's rather iffy. First, let's do this. Pokeballs- Max Level 15 Great Balls- Max Level 35 Ultra Balls- Max Level 55 Each of these Pokeballs has a max level of working. Now, for the percentage chance of catching the Pokemon. (Max Level - Pokemon Level) / Max Level- A Now that you have this number (a percentage), apply one of the following based on Health: 1-25% Health: x2 26-50% Health: x1 51-75% Health: /2 76-100% Health: /4 Now, if the Pokemon is Asleep, Paralyzed or Frozen, multiply by 2. So, for some examples. Level 13 Pokemon using a Pokeball at 56% Health 15-13 = 2/15 = 13% So here, you would need to roll a 1-13 on a 100 sided die to catch the Pokemon. Now the same Pokemon knocked down to 23% that's Paralyzed. 15-13 = 2/15 = 13% x2 = 26% x 2 = 52% Now by doing some more damage and Paralyzing, you've multiplied your chances by four. Simple enough, right? Also, Great Balls and Ultra Balls have an extra bonus. Great Ball- If the Pokemon is Lv. 1-15, the level modifier is auto set at 75%. Ultra Ball- If the Pokemon is Lv. 1-15, it auto catches. If it is 16-25, the level modifier is set at 75%. Additionally, you can only try and catch 2 Rare Pokemon a month and 5 Uncommon Pokemon a month. Ask me if you are unsure of a Pokemon's rarity. |
