Switzerland
One of my favorite places....  when I describe the Swiss Alps, I tell people it was like dying and finding the eternal Paradise.  After a grueling schedule for almost 2 weeks, we were taken to a hostel in the Alps and had a free day to do as we wished (no departure schedules!).  I was able to get properly hammered, sleep in, and then spend the entire next day journeying through neighboring villages and valleys by way of several interesting forms of transportation.  A few girls and myself had a wonderful day discovering amazing scenery, waterfalls, and crazy heights!
I call this the cable-car station!

T
o begin our journey that day, we got part-way up the mountian by means of a cable-car.  This picture doesn't really capture exactly how steep the incline actually is!  After crawling up the hill in a "box on a string" (frantically praying that the cable didn't break!), we walked around a little hamlet then proceeded to take a ski-lift to our next stop.
Pardon my expression, but the first thing I said upon seeing our next form of transportation was, "holy shit!, I'm gonna crap myself on that thing!"

To everyone's relief, I didn't make any messes and actually enjoyed myself immensely...  I'm sure the locals were rolling their eyes as I hooted and hollered like a kid on a fair-ride.

I took this while waiting for our lift to come get us.
Here I am, preparing to take on the heights... (Drum roll...)
Look at this!!!  I captured this magnificent scenery from the ski lift.  I just have to go back to Switzerland!!
We didn't spend all of our time in the mountains. (Lucerne)
Finally... after a good supper, we watched the sun go down from the balcony off one of our rooms...

Just awesome!
