*The Shooters listened to Marilyn Manson, which inspired them to commit the crimes-Dylan and Eric did not listen to Marilyn Manson. They listened to bands such as KMFDM and Rammstein. The media just had to find something that everbody on the news could relate so.

*When shooting up Columbine they were dressed in 'gothic clothing' and make up such as Marilyn Manson.-On the day of the massacre Dylan wore:a hat,trenchcoat,a black shirt that said WRATH in red lettering,black pants,combat boots. Eric wore trenchcoat *taken off in the parking lot*,a white shirt with "NATRUAL SELECTION" in black lettering,black pants,and combat boots.

*They were part of the Trench Coat Mafia-This is probably the biggest rumor out there. Yes, Eric and Dylan were known for wearing their trenchcoats around school but they were not part of the trenchcoat mafia. This rumor sprung when Eric's dad called 911 saying "he was part of what you call the trenchcoat mafia." The truth is that they knew some people who were in the group.

*Eric was the leader-That is so not true, even though it may seem like Eric was the leader because he left more behind but they both equally planned it. Dylan just wanted to remain a mystery for people to puzzle over.

*Eric shot Dylan- Dylan killed him self. You would think if some one would shoot them self in the head they would do it on the right side typically. This time its not that way because of the fact that Dylan is lefthanded.

*They were part of the gay alamo-thats just stupid.
