WHO are we?
WHAT are we doing? WHY are we here?
The Soccer Garage was opened to accomodate the memoribilia collected since the early 1970's, and to provide a location for a C-band satellite dish (and now a DirecTV "baby dish" ). We  are a social club: we can watch games, yell at the referee, drink beer, and smoke cigarettes (even cigars!) if we wish. We can comfortably seat 18 to view foreign telecasts, domestic matches, and Fox Sports World's transmissions. Visits are by invitation only. Since 1995, we have hosted our "Football Friends," including U.S. National Team members and professional players. We do not discriminate, however we are prejudiced against self-appointed experts, character assassins, and LAD's ("lyin' ass dogs").
The Soccer Garage home page was established to provide a source of accurate information about the U.S. Men's National Team from our resource library. We maintain an extensive collection of this material, consisting of publications, videos, and souvenirs. We are indexing and cataloging our Soccer America issues (1985-present), other publications (1974-present), and videos (1966-present). We believe the preservation of US Men's international game records will contribute to establishing a passionate tradition for soccer in the United States. We currently have over 1.7 million bytes on 99 pages: 19 information, 4 humor, 60 history, 15 fantasy & 1 entertainment
The Soccer Garage is a fan of any good match we can attend, view on TV, hear on the radio, or read about in established publications. We watch, listen, and read to learn about this game, it's participants, and it's passionate fans. We believe the majority of North Americans do not understand the unique social phenomenon we call soccer football. We are concerned about the soccer disinformation and misinformation which is disemenated as fact on the various chatrooms and sites via the net.
