Pinter/Albee

What are the plays about?

The Dumb Waiter (1960) is about two hit-men cooped up in a room, waiting to perform a job. They're screwed with by forces outside their control.

Counting the Ways (1976) is about relationship breakdown. The play playfully details how I do love thee.

Performance dates

Wednesday to Saturday across two weeks. The actual dates are: July 27-30 and August 3-6.

Audition information

More information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Rehearsals will run over around two months and will probably involve two meetings a week (an evening and a weekend).

The audition piece will likely be: pick your own one-page section from either of the plays. Pick something with dialogue in it. Memorize the lines, but without memorizing a particular way of delivering them.
