FAQ # 214

QUESTION  214 :  Does this speak of Christ in a Trinity in the Old Testament, “Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him” (Psalm 2:12)?

This was already dealt with in FAQ (168), when you read it, it should be clear that this was messianic prophecy, and we should know by now that the Messiah is none other than God himself (Isa 43:11); however, wrapped into a mystery (1 Tim 3:16), until it was later fully reveal at the outset of the apostolic age. Hence statement like, “My Lord and My God” (John 20:28).
