This outlines ALL of the regulations regarding E-mail Counseling and Instant Messaging Counseling. | ||||||||
Voices of Help is committed to offering couseling services via e-mail and instant messaging as a means of ouside help for any type of problem you may have or want another viewpoint of...We DO NOT make the claim of bieng accreddited by a Psychological Board or ANY Licenses...All we offer is good advice due to the experience of life and amount of extra curricular schooling we have had...So I urge you to take a look and try us out, if you don't like it then you are under no committment or obligation to continue (however we do ask that you let us know that you no longer want our services). 1.) All communication with the counselor in Instant Messaging must be by appointment! (There are NO exceptions to this rule!). 2.) All communications with the counselor via e-mail do not require appointment. ALL E-MAILS WILL BE ANSWERED! (If a counselor cannot provide you with an answer for ANY reason, expect a e-mail stating, in detail, as to why your question cannot be answered. 3.) There are no regulations on the subject matter that you choose to discuss with the counselor; HOWEVER, YOUR SUBJECT MATTER MUST NOT VIOLATE FEDERAL LAWS (i.e. murder, robbery, arson, etc.) There are also no regulations on speech, as we feel that freedom of speech shall not be infringed upon. 4.) All scheduled appointments that are done by Instant Messaging must be schedule in the -5:00 GMT time zone. 5.) If an appointment is made there will be a period of 20 minutes that will be taken into consideration for your show-up...If you do not honor the scheduled appointment arrangements, via-e-mail, would have to be made to schedule another appointment. 6.) You may use your real name or an alias when communicating via e-mail or Instant Messaging; A name will be asked when you speak with the counselor...The name you choose is entirely up to you. 7.) When communicating via e-mail or Instant Messaging the State in which you reside will be asked, just for demographical information ONLY. Any other information asked about you would be entirely for the sole purpose of counseling for the specific client. 8.) Here is a list of information we will NEVER ask you for: - Credit Card Numbers - Physical Addresses (Billing Addresses) - The Specific City in Which You Reside (Optional) - Bank Account Records - Any Type of Payment for Services Rendered - Social Security Number - Driver's License Number - Any Document Used To Identify You 9.) ALL E-mail must have a subject relating to the service that you are using (Which will be specified in the proper service, accessible from the main page). WITHOUT A SUBJECT YOUR E-MAIL WILL BE DISCARDED! |
