Capricorns can be slaves to convention, always concerned to be seen to do the right thing.  What often saves them is a captivating sense of humour, which can take over even at the most serious moments, disarming anyone who is about to give up on them.  If a Capricorn can be persuaded to relax and break out in some way, a lighter side of his or her personality will emerge.

Capricorns find it difficult to express themselves verbally, and tend to regard their partners as possessions.  They are always eager for the success of their children, but may place more emphasis on material wealth than love.  Capricorn children are loyal, but need to be ables to  respect their parents, and have a secure environment.

Capricorns relish working alone and exercising control - the self-made business person is often a Capricorn.  If they do work eith others, their ambition drives them steadily to the top of their career.  They do well in local government, banking, and finance.

Outdoor activities such as gardening, golf, and walking will be enjoyed by Capricorns, but music and books will give them a great satisfaction too.  Capricorns are more likely than most people to spend hours behind a desk, and exercise is necessary if they are not to develop stiffness in their joints and, at worst, arthritis.
