The basic necessity in casting a spell is to believe in it. You must have focus in order to carry out your aims and to succeed in your goal. In order to succeed in any aim your spirit has to be focused and balanced. You must learn to listen to and trust your intuition and realize that it is directly linked to your mind and is there to guide you through life. Magic is a positive force, but when used in the negative will return upon you in threefold and therefore you must make sure that your intent is only that of good when you decide to cast a spell. High priced accessories are of no need when casting a spell as for most of the items that you will need can be found in your home, garden, or local stores. Often you do not need much of anything because the root of all of you creations stems from your mind. Use spells wisely for they are not to be taken unseriously and if so they can have an unwanted negative effect on the caster. Spells should absolutely never be used to gain control over or harm any living being. When casting a spell you must keep your intent securely in mind and the magic will generate from you. Feel free to develope your oun ritual and add a piece of yourself to every spell you perform. Use candles to help you focus and to clear your mind and ground your spirit. Collect a large quantity and array of herbs and essential oils for you will require them in the majority of spells that you perform. Be aware of the lunar cycle when performing spells as this can be an essential key to your success, waxing moon to attract, waning moon to repel. You can also incorporate magical colors, numbers, stones, incence, symbols, and flowers into your spells as the majority will require them anyway. |
