These are methods throughout society documented
from traditions and of folklore in which you can be born into a
vamp life, actions in life leading to a vampiric transformation,
or death or after death causes to becoming a vampire. Of course
only true vampires know what took plase in order for themselves to
become the beautiful yet disloate creature.
Mother did not eat enough salt during pregnancy
Mother stared at by a Vampire whilst pregnant
Concieved on a Holy day
Being born on a new moon or holy day
Born with a red caul, with teeth or a third nipple
Born with excess hair, red hair or white hair
Born with a red birthnark or with two hearts
Being born as the 7th son of a 7th son
Weaned too early
Suckled after weaning
Recieved a curse
Being fed upon seven or more times, without dying
Committing suicide
Practicing sorcery or Witchcraft
Eating sheep killed by a wolf
Being a prostitute, murderer, alcoholic, drug addict or rapist
Saying a mass while in a state of mortal sin (priests)
Being a werewolf
Dying without Last Rites
A cat jumping over the corpse and/or coffin
A shadow falling on the corpse
No burial or improper burial rites
Death by violence
Death by drowning
Death at the hands of a Vampire
Wind from the Russian Steppe blowing on the corpse
Murder that is unrevenged
Having a candle passed over the corpse
Having one's brother sleepwalk
Stealing the ropes used to bury a corpse
Being buried face up in the grave (in parts of Romania)
