I apologize girls (Ode to Girls)

--I’ve realized I’ve been a bit hard on the female gender as of late and I offer an apology and hope they’ll realize I by no means mean to demean or belittle.  Girls may not be good drivers and have way too many pairs of shoes.....err...oops, scratch that...Keith, we’re being nice to girls in this article remember? (Gollum...
cough...Gollum).  Anyways, I thought I’d make a little ode to girls and how great they are.  I think you guys...err...I mean gals, deserve it.  This doesn’t compass all that’s super cool awesome with girls, but I hope to touch upon some key areas and characteristics.

Ode to Girls

Girls are really cool.  They have qualities about them that make them that way.  They always remember birthdays and anniversaries when guys don’t, so they always cover your back if you forget.  Girls have that gentle touch to things that makes me calm down a bit.  Sometimes I get uptight and a girl helps me unwind with her hopefully graceful demeanor.  Girls are pretty.  There’s something about their features that just makes my clock tick.  Guys are cool and all, but I don’t feel like looking at a guy.  Girls on the other hand are nice to look at.  Sure we guys have our “ideal” ideas about what a girl should look like, but any girl is better to look at than any guy, a rock, or the ceiling.  Girls always know how to comfort you when you need that comforting.  Whether it’s the special touch or a soothing comment, things feel better after you’re comforted by girl.  And their voices...gee, God did a good job programming that part.  Girls have those high, yet wonderful voices that are music to my ears.  Girls are usually more organized then guys, so you usually get more done when you’re around a girl.  Speaking of organization, girls are clean and that’s a nice respite from hanging or living with guys all day.  Did I mention girls smell like so good?  I don’t know how they do it, but day or night, hot or cold, tall or short, girls just always smell so so so yummy.  The scent of a girl is like better than delivery pizza!  Girls always write sweetly.  Whether it’s a letter or just IM, they always interject the conversation with happy smiley faces or refer to you as “hun” which makes me feel ten feet tall.  Girls are so good with kids.  They know what makes a kid tick and act accordingly, usually remedying a screwed up situation that a guy watching the kids made.  Did I mention girls are pretty?  Girls smile so benevolently.  When a girl smiles at me, it brightens my day because even if I don’t know them, they’re smile makes it seem like we’re friends.  Girls are great at giving back rubs and/or back scratches and/or massages.  That delicate touch goes a long way in relieving stress and muscle tension.  Girls aren’t usually as competitive as guys so it’s a breath of fresh air to have a girl around to help you realize that no, the world doesn’t revolve around that game.  Girls are pretty.  Girls look like super spectacular pretty in pretty dresses, when they get their hair all done, their nails done, bought some new dress shoes and some new earrings, and are wearing that new lipstick and perfume.  Yummy.  Girls know how to make good food that satisfies my stomach very much so.  Girls singing voices are like so delightful.  They sound like little earthly angels belting out those high notes in such graceful fashion.  Girls sometimes intoxicate my heart which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, which I like.  Girls give me something to protect and care for, which we guys like to do innately.  Girls are great huggers, I think it comes naturally to them.  Girls don’t mind getting deep about things when you’re alone with them whereas guys are wusses when it comes to not being superficial.  Girls have features that make my head spin.  Girls smell yummy and are pretty.
