Soccer moms everywhere can drive around their monster trucks that eat gas and spew fumes, whereas I, in my small 1972 BMW, am harassed by police because I don’t have state inspection or emissions stickers on my car (registered antique vehicles are exempt in Virginia). It’s no fair that we few antique owners can’t drive our cars freely while these civilian tanks plod around satisfying their owners’ need to have something bigger than their neighbor’s.” |
