August 3, 2004 I’m speechless, utterly speechless Fat activists protest diet industry                 To clarify, Things you cannot dictate in life: • Your natural hair color • Your skin color • Your skull structure (Mongoloid, Negroid, or Caucasoid) • What family you grow up in • What religion, or non-religion is endorsed as you grow up • How you talk • How athletic you are • Where you are born • To whom you are born to • Any limbs or appendages you may be born without Things you can dictate in life: • Whom you marry or don’t marry • Going to college or not • Engaging in sexual activity or not • Being overweight or not • Being in shape or not • How nice you are to other people • What religion or non-religion you choose, perhaps independent of your upbringing which was forced • Whether you believe in aliens or not • Which professional football team you think is the best • Whether you ask the girl out that you like to The Prom, but are afraid to because you fear rejection, or not • Taking personal responsibility for the actions or non-actions, decisions or non-decisions, in your life ...otherwise, I’m utterly speechless concerning the aforementioned article.
