| Terrorism: Using violence or the threat of violence against civilians to achieve political goals. The U.S. dropped atomic bombs on civilians at Hiroshima and Nagasaki in order to achieve the political goal of the surrender of the Japanese government. Therefore, the U.S. government is a terrorist regime. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| "And now, I think, the meaning of the evolution of civilization is no longer obscure to us. | From the appendix to the book "The Pianist" by Wladyslaw Szpilman (from the diary of German Army Captain Wilm Hosenfeld) "The G.Sta.Po torture people to death there......People are savagely beaten during interrogation. And there are special torture cells, for instance, one where the victim's hands and arms are tied to a column which is then pulled up, and the victim hangs there until he becomes unconscious. Or he is put in a crate where he can only crouch, and left there until he loses consciousness. What other diabolical things have they devised?" "There is outright terror and fear everywhere, the use of force, arrests. People are taken away and shot daily. The life of a human being, let alone his personal freedom, is a matter of no importance. But the love of freedom is native to every human being and every nation, and cannot be suppressed in the long term. History teaches us that tyranny has never endured." "Why does God permit this terrible war with its dreadful human sacrifices? Think of the terrible air raids, the awful fear of the innocent civilian population, the inhumanity of the treatment of the prisoners in the concentration camps, the murder of hundreds of thousands of Jews by the Germans. Is it God's fault? Why doesn't he step in, why does he let it all happen?......When the Nazis came to power we did nothing to stop them; we betrayed our own ideals." |

| Secret CIA Prisons Why did the U.S. set up secret CIA prisons? So that it could evade inspections by the International Committee of the Red Cross, which oversees compliance with the Geneva Conventions. They also hid part of the prison at Abu Ghraib from Red Cross inspectors..... They know they are violating the Geneva Conventions, they know what they are doing would be considered torture, and they don't want anyone to know about it. You have to ask yourself, what does the rest of the world think? Is a country that tortures people in secret prisons any better than religious fanatics who oppress people and fly planes into buildings? What kind of choice is that? |
