Kamel Kings

Official Game Settings.

It is easy to set up for a Kamel Kings Game.

  1. First, set everything to "100%."
  2. Second, change the flight mode to "Medium."
  3. Third, change the guns to "Strong."
  4. Set the starting distance to 1000’. (This is so we won’t have to fly so far to get to each other!)

 

That's all there is to it! These settings will give you an overall setting of 90%.

For practice, you may want to use normal guns. This allows you the opportunity to out-fly your opponent in case he just gets a lucky shot in on the first pass. These settings will give you an overall setting of 95%.

The reason for these settings instead of 100% is simple. In the hard flight mode, at least in WW1; your plane will start out flying worse than a real plane would fly. As soon as it gets shot even a little, your plane will no longer respond to normal flight controls. This makes it very hard for even an ace to recover from any type situation while in combat. This is not very realistic.

The main reason for not using the hard flight mode is so you can improve your flight skills. I would never have become an ace if I only flew with the hard flight mode. Blackie and I both learned using the above settings. Before I joined Kamel Kings, I only used the practice settings of 95%. (Normal guns.) This made for longer games because it took longer to shoot someone down. That is why in a game that is not intended for practice, we use stronger guns so the game will go faster.

For a challenge from either Blackie or VonBlaster to see if you qualify as an ace, you can choose from either the 90% settings, or the 95% settings. The game will be last alive, and you will need to get three kills by the time blackie, or VonBlaster gets five kills. Good Luck, and good flying!

Tower games; if you are flying a Tower Game, use these settings. They put you directly over the tower!

There is a space between the E and the 2. Write these settings down, and it will make for better tower games! :0) Of course, you are not limited to any of the above settings. If you prefer to play with other settings that is perfectly OK!
