MOTHER

M is for the million things she gave me

O means only that she's growing old

T is for the tears were shed to save me

H is for her heart of purest gold

E is for her eyes with love-light shining

R means right and right she'll always be

Put them all together they spell "MOTHER"

A word that means the world to me
The Rail
When I grow too old to dream
I'll have you to remember
When I grow too old to dream
Your love will live in my heart

This site is dedicated to the memory of my mother, Marjorie Moore (nee Byrne),
whose never ending quest for knowledge of her forbears instilled the same in me.
"How many members of the generations of this century, knew about their ancestors back into the centuries that have gone.  Some of us have not been fortunate enough to know about our great grandparents, or their families.  Where they were born, when they came here and what was their occupation.  We may not have listened to the older folks.  Even they may not have had much knowledge of the earlier years.
It is only when we loose our dear ones that we start to think about our forebears, who were the corner stones in our family heritage.
It behoves all of us to record what we know about our parents and families, so that all will not be lost to posterity.

The generations to be have the right to know the origin of their roots."
