Following are known names of descendants of William Allardice and his wife Helen Cruikshank, (daughter of Adam Cruikshank and Isabel Petrie) who were married  in 1780 in Turriff, Aberdeenshire. Their son William, was baptised 1788 in Gartly, Aberdeenshire, and married Margaret Dibbs (daughter of Thomas Dibbs and Margaret Bowden of Dundee, Angus)  Their son, George Charles Cheape Allardice was christened at Strathmiglo,Fifeshire in 1815.
After the death of his first wife Jessie,George sailed for Australia on board the MILES BARTON,leaving Liverpool and arriving in Melbourne, Victoria Australia on  13 August 1855, with his 2 sons, settling in the Western District of Victoria, where he married his second wife Annie Brunton.
