Prissy was bought from a breeder in North Carolina. She flew to me on a plane in a crate that was too small for her. Prissy went through it brilliantly. When I got her she was in heat and had a problem going to the bathroom outside. It took her several months to learn that potty was to be outside not inside. I had her spayed within the next two weeks. I am sure glad I did. Prissy is a demur and loving sheltie. She loves attention and now she is excited about going on walks.
Prissy is an oversized sheltie weighing about 42lbs. She is a lot to love. Her favorite time is cookie time. I ask her if she wants a cookie and she gets up and runs to the frig where I keep the cookies. Recently she has learned that getting on the bed is OK. She sneaks up on the bed in the middle of the night to sleep. I wake up in the morning and there she is sleeping. How GREAT is that. She finally feels at home. She has been with me for about four years and has decided that it is not so bad after all.
She does not have allergies but I have this year noticed that she has a couple of bumps on her back. Next week I am going to take her to the Vet and find out about them. Prissy gets a bath every two weeks to keep her clean for the bed. She is on "Skin Formula 3V Caps Liquid" to add oil to her food and help any skin problems that might arise.
She is going to have a BIRTHDAY PARTY the first week in April. She will be five 04-04-2006. I bought her a doggie birthday mix to make her cake in the shape of a bone. Same like I got Sydney. They will both have birthday hats to wear. Although, I will say that Prissy did not like the birthday hat. I tried it on her and she pawed it off. I call her back to put it on her again and she would not come. So there may not be pictures of Prissy in a birthday hat on her page. I will have some new pictures of Prissy that I had a photographer take at Christmas. They really came out good. We will have to wait and see what happens with the birthday hat.
I have made a command decision to have a photographer come to take pictures of the birthday party. I was going to try to take them myself but my camera always leaves me with red-eyes that I have trouble fixing in PSP. Less work for me better pictures for you. Look for new pictures on this page soon!
Here is the latest picture of Prissy.
